PMDG 777 cannot load EDDF

Hi,

weiß nicht, ob hier englisch erwünscht ist, darum auf englisch.

Falls deutsch erwünscht ist, kurz melden.

I've loaded the current NavDataPro AIRAC 1611 with my brand new PMDG 777. It cannot load runways and SIDs of EDDF into the FMC.

When I try to load it says something like: RWY36 MISSING within the scratchpad. No chance to choose Departures.

I googled and found the solution.

This line

RW;36;49.998481;8.526283;316;0;358;359;13123

must be pasted into the ARTP_RWY.dat under the AP;EDDF;FRANKFURT/MAIN entry.

Then it works fine. So the 777 doesn't like a missing runway.

Is it possible to include this line into the following NavDataPro AIRAC cycles by default?

If yes, there would be no need to edit it manually every month.

All the best

Alex

What you see is correct, as there is no rwy 36 for departure. The "Startbahn West" is only for departure and only to the south.

But anyway, the mentioned file is not part of NavdataPro, but seems to be part of the PMDG installation and my version (dated from 22.05.16) already inlcudes this line.

I know this rwy is for south departure only. I do not want to depart direction north.

But I cannot depart out of any rwy at Frankfurt without this rwy36-line within the file. The FMC does not accept EDDF without the rwy36 at all.

And it was the original NDP-file with timestamp from the AIRAC update.

But ok. I will wait until the following AIRAC in order to see what will happen.

Thx so far.
