Cloudster 16
Flight1 has updated its GTN 750/650 to v1.17 and using Garmins new trainer you are able to load/create flight plans from a file. I would love to see PFPX updated to be able to save/export flight plans to this format so that we can load them directly into the GTN units. Latest Features with v1.17! Custom Flight Plan / Waypoint Loading - Users now have the ability to load a custom flight plan and the ablity to import custom waypoints using a very simple procedure (see included document for more info) New! PC Trainer V6 Support New! Navigation Database from July 2016 (Cycle 1607) New! Updated Charts, SafeTaxi, and basemap databases New! Custom User Defined Holds (unpublished) New! Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted October 21, 2016 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted October 21, 2016 Hi, can you check with the manual please, to see what format is expected? I wouldn't be too surprised if PFPX is already able to create what you need.

Cloudster 16
3. Flight Plan File Guidelines Garmin uses a text based flight plan format that is derived from the IMI/IEI messages format specified in ARINC 702A-3. But that’s just a side note. Let’s take a look at the syntax of a usual Garmin flight plan: FPN/RI:F:AIRPORT:F:WAYPOINT:F:WAYPOINT.AIRWAY.WAYPOINT:F:AIRPORT Every flight plan always starts with the “FPN/RI” identifier. The “:F:” specifies the different flight plan segments. A flight plan segment can be the departure or arrival airport, a waypoint or a number of waypoints that are connected via airways. The entry and exit waypoint of an airway are connected to the airway via a dot “.”. The flight plan must be contained in the first line of the file. Anything after the first line will be discarded and may result in importing failures. Flight plans can only contain upper case letters, numbers, colons, parenthesis, commas and periods. Spaces or any other special characters are not allowed. When saved the flight plan name must have a “.gfp” extension. I'll attach the actual pdf file if you need more info. Cloudster 16
Here's an example flightplan file produced by the GTN 750/650 The file basically looks like this: FPN/RI:F:KTEB:F:LGA.J70.JFK.J79.HOFFI.J121.HTO.J150.OFTUR:F:KMVY KTEB-KMVY.gfp

All the needed info is available in this thread, would it that much trouble to build this? Thanks in advance for making it! Marcel

pracines 6
one could use littlenavmap (free!), it imports PLN and exports the GPF formats - its what I do until PFPX is updated.
