Due to many questions, here are some general informations about the X-Plane 11 from our site (Aerosoft). We (Aerosoft) will sell the box version and the digital download version of X-Plane 11. (Released!!) The download version will require a key again. For the box version: DVD 1 required. All discount/upgrade/early discount...: Only as long as the offers are valid (see shop). This will be at 49.69 euros incl. 19 % VAT. 1. For box owner of X-Plane 10: See here too: Link zum Shop If you purchased the box version directly from Aerosoft Shop please enter your five-digit order number (X-Plane 10) during the order process so that you automatically get the update price. If you purchased the box by other suppliers please send us the DVD 8 of X-Plane 10. You get it back With immediate effect (Oct/21/2016) all customers buying the download version of X-Plane 10 will receive the upcoming version of the accurate flight simulator series – X-Plane 11 – for free! Price at the time: 49,99 Euro. The dual serial key will be provided to you after purchase for activating both X-Plane 10 and X-Plane 11. As long as theyreally followed the rules of X-Plane 10, there shouldn´t be anny problems. But X-Plane 11 no longer guarantees a compatibility to X-Plane 9. There might be small updates needed if aircraft make direct use of the navigation data in "Custom Data" or the default apt.dat. The files currently (in XP 10) used in "Custom Data" can be replaced by a single "earth_424.dat" file, if the users wishes to do so. Aircraft that rely on X-Plane 10's format of "Custom Data" won't load this new file by default; they need to be updated by the developers. But this is only relevant for professional users with direct access to 424 master files. Updates may also be needed if aircraft read the default apt.dat, such as vFlyteAir's Cirrus SR20 (but this remains to be seen). Edit: There might also be small updates needed to aircraft that rely on X-Plane 10's "resources/GNS430" files. According to this development posting, all navigational purposes will use the same navigational data, and this is either "Custom Data" or the .dat files in resources/default data. We will do it in this way: If you buy a digital download X-Plane 10 (from now on) then you get a key for XP10 and this key will work for XP11 too. So you don't have to pay for XP11 additionally. X-Plane doesn´t care. You can have multiple X-Planes on the same computer if you want. In fact for some cases (beta tests) this is an advised method. Greetings Joachim It should work fine if it was a DVD Version and it is up to date. Don´t put the CD in your computer and start X-Plane. It should ask for your key. Greets Heinz Alle klar. Gekauft! Nun besitze ich die DVD Boxed von XP 10 und die Download Version. An XP10 Werde ich nichts mehr ändern. Der Läuft 1A. Einen XP11 Key liegt nicht vor.
