I'm using both FSX and XP 10. The only factor that keeps me coming back to FSX is the weather factor.

XP 10 weather is not nearly as good as that of FSX/P3D. Even with SMP 3.xx.

I like to keep an open mind, each platform has it's pros and cons, for me P3D replaced FSX a while ago, but I do also use X-plane 10.

How I chose which simulator I use is what plane I want to fly, P3D offers the fantastic add-ons from PMDG (NGX,777, and hopefully the 747 soon) and X-Plane offers the amazing IXEG 737 classic which think is probably the best add-on out there. Not forgetting the 757 and 767 add-ons for X-Plane, there of very high standard too. And the Rotate MD-80.

I like both simulators, P3D can visually look a lot better, but that's purely due to add-ons, X-Plane should deffiently become more popular as it's got great potential. Simmers should give it more of a chance.

I finally got FSX:SE to work really well on my rig! Right now there is no need to change.

I am currently very satisfied with FSX sp2, got it running with the graphics I want. The biggest reason I stick with this platform is that not all add-ons I use are compatible or available for P3D. As soon as they are, I'd be pleased to change to P3D. But I guess this will take some time, so I'll be enjoying my FSX until then

I'm running p3d v3.2 in low gamma pc (i5 4460 + gtx660) and I'm happy with my 30 fps

At the moment I'm using FSX with the Acceleration Expansion Pack. I already thought multiple times about switching to Prepar3d, but I'm not sure if I'll do it. The main reason for this is that my FSX is running very well and stable, and I do not want to buy PMDG's planes again.

Switched to Prepar3D V3 after a long time using FS2004. It's smooth, stable and looks beautiful. No need to make any other change now ;).

FSX is running fine, and it is a lot of money to shell out for changing to P3D, a few hundred bucks for PMDG products alone O_o

Still using FSX and FSX/SE until more of the high-end aircraft addons are ported over to P3d. Rebuying a lot of my aircraft is making the move too expensive for me atm.

Currently on P3D v3.4. Veeeery happy! Maybe I'll try out XP11 when it comes out but not planning to switch.
