Hi,

I have just downloaded ver 1.60 and installed it to check it out before hit the road for the weekend. I have activated TNCM but when I am going to the aieport pressing the key kombination for the menu the menu appears but can not change anything. Either at the gate or at the rnw the only option is to go in a particualr gate. Pressing the follow me no does nothing. KBOS I tryies works OK.

Any Ideas?

Hi,

all fine here. Did you mean, that if you open the Followme menu, you get the menu with E_Parking 1, but when you press F2 nothing change?

I have try it at the runway and on the taxiway and all works fine for me.

But when it works on other Airport, I don't think it is a key assignment problem. So no idea yet.

That is what I am seeing and KSFO and KSEA work fine...

I tried at the gate and then shutdown the engines but nothing happened.

I will try the runway now.

Just tried starting on the runway, same result...Like I said in my other post, I reverted back to the stock Afcad from FT but I am running the textures w/Mip added.

The AFCAD and any other Patch sould not be any reason for that.

... ok, problem found: I don't know why at the moment, but AESHelp don't copy a Lib file, when you check the airport TNCM.

Workaround for the moment:

Copy (don't move) the file

..AerosoftAESAIRPORTFlyTampaTNCMAES-TNCM-LIB.BGL

to

..Addon SceneryFlyTampa-Maartenscenery

and restart the FS, then all will work.

I must check, what is the problem of AESHelp here.

Hello,

there is a small problem in a filename of AES 1.60, which generate a problem in TNCM after checking this Airport. Please do the following to solve that:

- go to the ..AerosoftAESAIRPORT Directory and rename the file

AESA_TNCM_FLT.CFG in

AESA_TNCM_FTL.CFG

- then start AESHelp, uncheck TNCM, press save, and check TNCM again

- Restart FS

Now, the LIB file is copied correct to the Scenery Directory of TNCM and all will work as it has to be.

Sorry for that typeerror in the filename.

Ok, so doing the first step of manually copying the file accomplishes the same thing as the second set of instructions and using AES Help. I appear to be all good to go here Oliver.

Please RENAME the CFG not the BGL.

Please check, if you have now two BGL in the ..AESSCENERY directory, with name AESA_TNCM_*.BGL, then delete both.

Then start AESHELP and check TNCM again.

Check your AESSCENERY (not AESAIRPORT) directory and delete all AESA_TNCM_*.BGL files you find there, then start AESHELP and it will work.

Correct me if I'm wrong Oliver, but the files should be FLT ( NOT FTL ) at least all the other flytampa airports are FLT.

but it is easier at the moment to change the CFG to the "wrong" name to prevent the problems, skydvdan has now.

When you uncheck the TNCM before you rename the BGL to FLT in the AIRPORT directory instead of the CFG and then check it again it sould work too. But it's important that the not both named BGLs are in the SCENERY directory, that will generate much problems.

I will correct that in the next version.

With the files named FLT AES will not work at TNCM. I get a screen for parking with ctrl+shift+W, but it's not responsive.

Both have the name FTL now and it works perfectly!! Thank you again.

it really seems like the easier fix is the first one of manually copying the single file. It worked fine for me and it creates much less confusion,
