Since I have reinstalled P3D and I have checked the registry entry correctly.. simMarket refuse to refund me the product unless Aerosoft tells them to.. So it must be something on your system that keeps it from working properly, even though we tried already with faking the needed registry key.  If you are still willing to go a bit deeper into this please do the following: end the installer of the add-on if it is currently running download the Sysinternals Process Monitor from the following linkhttps://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645 you can directly start the exe file, no setup is needed click on the magnifying glass icon to start capturing start the installer of the add-on forward within the installer to the "select simulator" page switch back to the Process Monitor and click again on the magnifying glass icon to stop capturing again click on the file save icon to save the capture into a .pml file post that file either here or even better send it to me via PM Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

keem85 0 Posted August 18, 2016 Author Share Posted August 18, 2016 I just tried another application just for testing now, FlyinsideP3D mod for example.. It was able to find my Prepar3D installation immediatly via the SetupPath.. Other application does not have this problem.. It's only Austria HD East pack that has this problem on my system.. I got that package from simMarket.. Furthermore I tried other applications, like reinstalling ORBX, and also those installers find my P3D setup path immediatly.. It seems to be a problem with the installer after all.. But I got the installer from simMarket.. I will add the query for the registry keys for 'current user' as mentioned earlier to be on the safe side.
