F-14B lateral control too sensitive

Featured Replies

Hello,

F-14B and F-14A block 110 models are too sensitive in lateral control. It is very hard to make precise corrections during carrier landing. Even small joystick right/left deflection cause fast roll reaction. Is it behavior of real plane? I didn't have this problem in previous version of F-14x. Is possible to reduce lateral control sensitivity of these models?

I don't know what to say from a scoping perspective other than we had thumbs up from real world F-14 drivers.

In terms of your setup, it's always possible to adjust control sensitivity/response depending on how you route controls. FSUIPC (paid) will let you make aircraft specific calibrations to suit your preferences.

I agree it must be a controller issue - play around with sensitivity in calibration settings. I haven't found the B or blk 110 to be any more unstable on approach...matter of fact the B is almost easy on approach compared to the early models...makes you appreciate what the early F-14 drivers had to deal with.
