seahawk09 0
Hey all, I was wondering has anyone bought the Track IR4 pro for fS i was thinking of buying it if anyone has it could they tell me what they think of it since i am considering buying it. Thanks in advance
specialist 16
Buy it! you wont regret it. Ever since I got mine, I never went back to 2D panel or traditional VC mode. You can't beat the realism with it, and my framerates are better then using traditional VC mode. It's a must for serious simmers.
WEA-JHD 1
i agree 100% with Specialist.. trackIR will forever change the perception of Realism in Fs and any other game that supports it, it is a revolution, now i only fly in VC Only thing you should be aware of is that trackIR shouldnt be used in bright places as it will not dunction properly, be sure that you are in a dark enviroment. low-n-slow 0
seahawk09 Did you notice that the other two responses said "buy it" Buy it It is the single best after-market hardware purchase I have made for Flight Simming. Period. I have CH yoke, pedals, throttle, large screen, fresnel lens, etc. but they all take a back seat to TrackIR.
Robert S 75
If you have not bought it yet, then what are you waiting for?? As everyone who has replied has stated, it will change your gaming experience. If you want the ultimate in realism, combine it with the wireless 3D glasses: they really work! This combination has left many of my friends speechless, they can't believe how "real" it seems!

BladeRun 0
Wait, before you buy it, let me recommend.......buy it! I didnt see your post earlier, cuz i was flying with the TrackIR 4 I had a couple of issues setting mine up, but there is a great support forum on the Trackir web site. Within a couple of hours I was able to get it up and running. A++ to their support people.
VinFlyer 8
I bought mine last week at Ebay and got it yesterday. What a great piece of hardware, really you won't regret
skydvdan 2
An additional note: I just received the TrackClip pro and it's yet another great addition to an already great product. Since it's an active IR source instaed of passive like the regular hat clip, it is way smoother panning in the sim. And of course there is the benefit of not having to wear a hat anymore.
Nick C 110
Had mine for a year or so now, all I can add to this thread is "Buy It". And you can get a 10 USD discount if you buy it here: http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/promo/...creenshotartist  It's natural now to don the cap while booting up FS, as natural as slipping on my socks in the morning! Guest AerosoftNA
Normally I am pretty sceptical to fancy hardware add ons. but as I had the chance to play around with it at a booth of Natural Point on a trade show, the deal was very quickly made! It's really "naturally" working and even my son of 5 years old understood what to do with his head instantly... I use it a lot with VFR flying and on visual approaches with airliners. It's so pretty handy just to keep an overview of things. Unfortunately describing the effect properly is sooo immense hard. It's a product whether you must see and buy or simply trust Natural Point (and the forums/reviews) that it's a thing worth to buy!
limp 29
Wow, I'm definetly getting one... In France there sold out, and there is one shop on ebay that sells them for 179 €... Anybody have a link ? Thanks and good night
daveIT 0
I've had one about a year. No regrets...this thing is great!
Snave 466
TIR can do things that even a multi-bucks multti-monitor-networked-pc solution can't do. The first time you lean forward to look past the yoke at the light switches or pick your turning point for finals by craning your head past the window frame, you'll know... I can only add to what has already been said: BUY it!
limp 29
Yes but where, that is the question, I live in Switzerland and no store seems to have it in their catalogue...
VinFlyer 8
Get it from the Aviation Megastore: http://www.aviationmegastore.com/?shopid=L...7&art=47481 They deliver worldwide.

Snave 466
TrackIR 4 includes Vector Expansion. It was an addon for the earlier Track IR3. Buy Track IR4...
limp 29
Got it this afternoon, found it in a store in Geneva... It's bluffing ! I flew around, and now I just need to change the sensitivity a bit and it will be perfect.... It feels very real !
ManuelL 71
Track IR is sure worth the price - personally I would even be willing to pay a bit more if they made it a bit more stable. The cable on mine just broke (bit over two years since I bought it). I haven't found the time to replace it so far. I can also recomend the track clip, which realy improves the tracking precisision - but is as well something that can easily break.
