Hi I'm having trouble spawning AI aircraft from the F-14 menu. It says in the manual that it can take between 10-30 mins. I have flown twice and waited 30mins and nothing has happened. I also get no AWACS messages. Am I;m doing something wrong in the setup? Do I need to start off the carrier for the it to work. I'm flying out of  NAS Oceana when I start the scenario. Thanks.

I believe you have to have Nav tuned to the carrier tacan also.

I spawn the carrier when I'm on the rwy at Oceana. Its less than 50miles away and yes I have my TACAN tuned to the carrier
