Ground Power

Featured Replies

Maybe I missed something... But saw on the features list that Ground Power was now select-able... Was wondering where the switch of that was...? Searched the manuals but couldn't seem to locate it...

I believe that ground power is a .lua switch, or it can be enabled by clicking on the relevant checkbox in the shift-2 panel.

There is mention of a LUA command for ground power, when I asked because I could find it I was directed back to tha manual were I failed to locate it before asking here, also the list in the module folder in FSX with no joy.

Glad I'm not the only one who missed this... Yea I searched all 7 manual volumes using key words "ground" and "external" and came up with nothing... Didn't see it on the shift-2 panel either.... Also slightly off topic... But did the same bit of searching with the TCS zooms, since I saw its now a two level zoom instead of continuous; was wonder does that auto adjust or is that a switch based adjustment?

It is switch based there is a switch in the RIO's seat on left side with the controls for the radar marked FOV  (or similar) with the positions of wide and nar (narrow). Wide being zoomed out and narrow being zoomed in. It works for all video input I believe.

So that answers my TCS question... thanks! As for the GPU.... Well I went back and looked further at the shift-2 panel and found ext power as a checklist item under pre-start... However it has no effect... I can check it off but cannot un-check it but doesnt matter regardless...  As even when I check the C&D box the RTUs for the comms stay lit up as does the annunciator panel... So wondering am I missing something else or just a glitch? Seems to function the same as v1.11 in that respect...

Is everyone running v2.01? There was a GP glitch in v2.00 that I thought we got fixed.

Yes, I can attest that I personally am running v 2.01.... and I did do a clean install for 2.01... Thanks,

Sorry for the delay. I had been limping along with a dying motherboard since November. Almost finished rebuilding, and then can take a look.
