sLYFa 4
First of all thanks for the update, it really enhances the F-14X. I see the developer is still busy even after the release with answering user questions, which I appreciate as much as the update itself. So heres a few things I've noticed: - When starting cold and dark, the aircraft has its parking brake on and is connected to ground power. If I release the parking brake, the ground power gets disconnected. However, that electrical cockpit noise (a rectifier I guess) still persists even if the plane is clearly unpowered (no lights or other electrical equipment working). Now if I switch parking brakes back on, the ground power does not come back and I have to reload the plane. Is there some GPU connect/disconnect switch I´m missing? -I see the selective jettison switches in the RIO pit are now clickable (or have always been?). However, I was not able to jettison any ordnance with it, so my guess is S/J not implemented yet? -Little typo in Vol 6 Page 17: Below the Picture of the TID, the respective elements of the TID are explained with their respective numbers next to it. These go from 1-4 and then 14-18, although in the picture the elements are numbered 1-9 -With NWS disengaged, the rudders wont move either. Is this intended? -With WCS in STBY, the scan bar keeps moving on the DDD Again thanks for the great effort put into this project. I hope the devs (especially jcagle) are not too tired of the F-14X yet and will provide support and maybe even more functionality in the future (which I for one would be gladly paying for) Link to comment https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/106855-some-more-questions/ Share on other sites

There is a LUA function that allows you to turn ground power on and off, but it should be ON by default and only a lua input can turn it to OFF. I'll have to try on my machine tonight and see if I can verify the issue. 14 hours ago, sLYFa said: -I see the selective jettison switches in the RIO pit are now clickable (or have always been?). These have always been animated, but are not functional. 14 hours ago, sLYFa said: -Little typo in Vol 6 Page 17: Below the Picture of the TID, the respective elements of the TID are explained with their respective numbers next to it. I wouldn't call it intended so much as unavoidable. We tried some three different methods separate the NWS and Rudder in SimConnect, but could not find an effective way to do it without notable bugs. 14 hours ago, sLYFa said: -With WCS in STBY, the scan bar keeps moving on the DDD Noted! On future work. There will certainly by a small patch of some sort to fix little issues like the two mentioned above. As far as feature developments are concerned, that's hard to say. My narrow focus is to finish the PhD in the next few months and then get a job. Richard Portier 5
Hi, Concerning the ground power seems I have no issue with it. Parking Break Off=ground power disconnected>>>Parking Break On=ground power connected.
