Marc W. 0
Oh powers-that-be ... would it be possible to throw a Gondola in the package to explore the channels? (Nothing fancy, just some simple thing that floats) Thanks!!!
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted November 29, 2007 Author Aerosoft Share Posted November 29, 2007 Release is expected tomorrow. On some external forums I have read that that we would never get the scenery fast enough. However this scenery is created to guarantee a solid 20 fps virtually over the whole scenery on a machine with the following hardware at the settings advised in this manual; - CPU: Intel Dual core 6400 running at 2.13 GHz - Memory: 2 Gb - GPU: GeForce 8800 GTS (running at 1680x1050 res) - OS: Vista 32 bits (XP SP2 probably 10% faster) - FS: Standard FSX deluxe SP1 See the attached shot, showing the whole city at 20 fps. The other shot is just to show you the beauty of the project.
Mithrin 0
Ah I used to fly over the...um...other Venice with my um...other Ultralight pack! Will be fun to be able to do that again but now with the extra eyecandy that FSX offers! I can see the reflectivity on some of those buildings. That's another 'small' detail that I like a lot. Just as in real life you get some of those reflexions on the buildings beamed back at you. Looks great!

HeyChief 0
I hope they don't run over my rowboat, LOL. They're probably loaded with tourists, as in real life. HC
