AUTOPILOT Panel set to VEC/PCD?

Vic I hope you don't mind me naming you that.  I have all those settings set but the jet wont follow the flight plan route still?

I tried this myself for the first time today. Steering CMD to VEC, check! Autopilot mode to VEC, check! Autopilot on, check! Nav/GPS to GPS, check! (I have a switch on my HOTAS, but keyboard command must work too.) NWS engaged, check! It works!
