With all the functionalities of the Tomcat, I find myself needing more and more buttons on my joystick. Is there any way to assign the hat switch down and up buttons to 2 different events? I only seem to be able to assign hat switch as a whole to one event.

It would be great if I could both zoom in and out by pressing up and down.

I think it depends on how your joystick handles hat switches, on my joystick I have 4 out of 5 hat switches mapped to differing functions for the tomcat the fifth one I would really like to use for the LANTIRN control but it is setup as a POV hat so I cannot map it to more than one function.

 

However you may find some use in the Universal Joystick Remapper, which should allow you to remap your hat switch as you see fit with a little tinkering around, I have yet to try the program but from what I have read it will let you do what you want.

Thanks. It's quite complicated so i gave up and re-assigned a couple of buttons instead.
