bpcw001 28
Hi, I'd like to know where the left MCDU actually gets the engine information from. I have been mainly flying the A320/321 CFM and found the engine information to be correctly displayed for each: A320: CFM56-5B4, A321: CFM56-5B3. However, with the A319 CFM, I also get CFM56-5B4 indicated in the MCDU (with the 27K rating that is modeled, shouldn't it be CFM56-5B7?). And for the A318, the MCDU only says "CFM" without giving a more precise engine type. Can this be configured somewhere? Also, I had a look into the FSX\aerosoft\Airbus A318_A319\PerfDat folder. There are two engine data files there, (CFM56-5B5 and CFM56-5B7) which would match the actual A318 and A319 engines, but neither of those seem to be read, I renamed both of them and started FSX, loaded the A318 and A319 respectively, and it did not complain about missing .dat files. So, I do not really understand what exactly is modeled here for the A318/A319 CFM series. Could you please enlighten me? Thank you.
