Rafal Haczek 1612
Inspired by a thread at another forum, I would like to share three great sites letting you follow the ISS (International Space Station) live! Please login to display this image. 1. Here is the current position of the ISS (the cross showing the exact point ISS is flying over): http://iss.astroviewer.net/ 2. Here you can check where ISS is going to be visible from your hometown: http://spotthestation.nasa.gov/ 3. Here you can see live view from an ISS camera (make sure it is daylight around ISS though): http://www.ustream.tv/channel/iss-hdev-payload

Rafal Haczek 1612
Since it travels a dozen times faster than Condorde did, its astronauts orbit Earth more than 15 times a day! Seeing all the Earth's miracles everyday and experiencing 15 sunrises and 15 sunsets per day...
Rafal Haczek 1612
1 hour ago, Mathijs Kok said: I did not know that thing was so big these days Yes, it has grown really huge! 110x50 metres (excluding solar array) with almost half a thousand tones. keukenrol 87
Well, to continue the space topic: This site shows all satellites in space, and the ISS also off course! http://stuffin.space/
Robert S 75
A remarkable and truly fascinating topic here, thanks to everyone for the links. Of particular interest to me was the suffin.space link, above. Do you all remember the movie "Gravity" with Sandra Bullock about a collision of satellites wreaking havoc? Well, that happened...kind of. Click on the http://stuffin.space and in the upper left corner (search field) type in Cosmos 2251 Do you see all the orbits and the designation of "DEB"? That is because each and every one of these is a 4 inch or greater debris from a collision between a Kosmos 2251 and an Iridium 33 satellites! That is a lot of debris currently whipping around at approx. 25000 MPH!
