I managed to get FSX back up and running and just did a 1½ hour flight in and around LHBP.

Andras and Peter did an awesome job on this scenery and the ground colours are excellent! Really excellent! :P There are animations galore wherever you look, incredibly detailed buildings, airport objects and so on.

My frames? I have them capped at 26 and I’m getting anywhere from 15 FPS to 26 FPS depending on where in the coverage area I fly and what my direction of view happens to be. Needless to say, it works like a charm on my system. (I have an Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM, 1066 Mhz FSB and an nVidea GeForce 7900 GS card.)

The manual is loaded with charts which I still have to print.

The only thing I did notice is I have one bridge partially submerged and another that is completely submerged. Not sure if it’s being caused by my settings or not, but regardless of that, it doesn’t detract from the scenery one bit.

Definitely worth buying if your system can handle it!

Well you got fast hardware. That's a fact. Could you point out the bridge to me?

Sure can.

Weird thing too. I've never been there in FSX before until I got the scenery. To see what's been added, I removed (unchecked) Mega Budapast from FSX and then went back to the same location.

I couldn't believe it! The default FSX scenery is horrible and inaccurate to the extreme! You'd hardly know you were at the same city. I'd always assumed that FSX rendered cities within reason, but after looking at Mega Budapest, there's absolutely no comparison.

I can see that all those (ugly) and wrongly placed default bridges left there by the default scenery irritates many of you.

Ok, here is a modified exclude file to get rid of those bridges.

Just copy and overwrite the attached single bgl file in the city's scenery directory.

regards

Andras
