It depicts the Convair F-102 and even states that "the blast of supersonic flight is shattering the old familiar sounds of city and countryside". Today, people COMPLAIN of the noise of jets (both commercial and military) and it is interesting to note the changes in laws to abate noise from flights over residential areas...my how times have changed!
