Sharky 856
*** With kind permission of PFPX-Support *** Hello, in the folder "Update 1601" you can find updated/new files for RAD-Restrictions and directs, incl. all changes from AIRAC 1406 till AIRAC 1601. With all these chages PFPX can generate different routes for Europe - for different daytimes and days. Subsequent a list of new nav-files: BALKANS - Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro DKSE FAB - Denmark und Sweden EYVL Free Route Airspace - Lithuania FRAMAK - Maastricht UIR und Karlsruhe UIR LSAS - Switzerland NEFAB - Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia UKRAINE - Ukraine The FRAMaK-area has more directs, but they couldn't be implemented, because non-valid routes would be generated then Note: To benefit from all changes I suggest using AIRAC 1513 or newer Installation You can do a backup of "C:\Users\Public\Documents\PFPX Data" first (optional) copy RAD.dat to "C:\Users\Public\Documents\PFPX Data" copy all nav-files to "C:\Users\Public\Documents\PFPX Data\NavData" Expect next update 1602 on February 6th/7th. Driver170 6
Backup the folder and remove all the .nav files that are inside
pcubine 15
Vernon Downloaded and installed update 1603.rar and got the same message you did when I started PFPX. Fortunately this is on a second computer which I don't actually use for simming. I will try and figure it out in the next couple of days/
srcooke 421
Re-install your AIRAC or alternatively the backup you made. You should not delete ALL .nav files as suggested.
pcubine 15
Vernon I got rid of the error message by copy/past of navdata.nav from the Backup folder to the NavData folder, However it looks like you already have that file in the NavData folder. I can't tell from your screenshot. Make sure navdata.nav is in the NavData folder. If that doesn't work, I would do what Stephen Cooke recommends. Driver170 6
Yep that worked guys, i placed the .navdata back in. But it never mentioned don't removed that file?
srcooke 421
To clarify the installation of David's files: You should remove all .nav files provided by me, and distributed via PFPX except for the AIRAC file navdata.nav Install Davids files as instructed. It would appear David has merged my files in to the FAB areas, you must not retain both sets as doing so will cause deletions within the files when you start PFPX. Sharky 856
Hi, sorry for any trouble caused by update instruction. I edited step 2 in readme and reuploaded all files. Those of you, who already fixed this issue as advised by scrooke, you dont't need to download again. Regards David
Driver170 6
So i'm moving all files and just leaving the .navdata file ?

That is correct, in addition you may wish to retain UserData.nav if you have created your own direct entries. Then add all files from David,
Driver170 6
Ok cheers. one other thing, it is true these routes aren't CFMU validated and i will still need to correct the errors?
srcooke 421
They are not routes, direct links not forming part of the AIRAC. A PFPX route requires validating if you so choose, even CFMU 'proposed' routes are not valid until submitted and adjusted to meet requirement as required. I edited step 2 in readme and reuploaded all files. Hi, thanks for this work. Two things I would like to underline: - the updated file reuploaded is quite a bit barely visible because it is in the lower part of the post instead of the much visible button on the upper right with written Download this file that is linked to the older 1603 file. - In my NavData folder I found 27 files, instead in the updated pack there are only 18 files. Apart for the 3 files cycle.txt, cycle_info.txt (from the AIRAC update) and Navdata.nav that has to be retained, it seems to be missing other 6 files. What is not clear to me?
