Horizontal Stabs Do Not Work

Featured Replies

FSX - With any of the F14 models Input from joy stick shows the cockpit stick moving but the stabs themselves barely move. They are stuck with left  partial down and right partial up. If I switch from the F14 to the Stock F18 (acceleration pack) same effect except The stabs move more that the tomcats did. Seems something in F14X is causing this issue. I have tried re-installing the F14x pack but same issue. Anyone have any idea why this may be occurring?  The F18 works fine if I did not load any of the Aerosoft F14 jets

Are you running FSX Steam? If you are try re-installing the F-14X but choose an acceleration install and manually point it towards steam.

Not as far as I know. I have the regular FSX CD disk and Acceleration pack disk installed for years. Unless somehow I updated them off steam and didn't realize it at some point. I'll uninstall Aerosoft again and see what the install options are.

If you are not running steam edition I don't think it will work, as far as I know it is just the steam install option is bugged.

Tried re-install of both the Gold and SP2 versions. Same issue. Tried to install the steam version and got the error Couldn't find Microsoft Flight Simulator. I wonder if I installed the SP2 version at some point and I need to clean something up manually then install the GOLD version again?

Ok so browsed to and installed the steam version just to see if made any different. No joy. Odd I have used the Aerosoft 14 before it's just been a while and wanted to get back in to it.
