ENG Mode Select Panel and etc.

Featured Replies

So I have been going through the NATOPS and the Pocket checklist for the F-14B, (now that I have created physical copies as close to the real ones as possible) and I am unable to find the panel that allows you to select engine mode as well as the asymmetric limiter. The  L/R ENG SEC caution lights also seem to be missing. I am also unable to find the backup ignition switch. Are these features that were not on the A model and therefore not included or am I just looking in all the wrong places.

As a side note I noticed that the guard for the emergency generator switch seems to be missing, at least on the B model anyways.

Thanks in advance

My new pocket checklist I made for anyone interested, I am still trying to find somewhere that can bind the full NATOPS the perfect binder I have access to in class was too small to handle it

Thought it was noted here before, as far as the "B" F110 missing a few of the key engine switches (some may recognize the switches if they have flown F-16s in other sims). The Sparrowhawk HUD made it in, and IMHO more important for the general sim customer for flying the model. Do you have the latest NATOPS changes to both the manual and checklist?

I agree that the sparrowhawk HUD is a much more important feature for the B model to have, I just hadn't noticed anything else amiss until I started going through the NATOPS.

It depends on when they stopped being updated, the checklist is marked Change 3 - 15 January 2004. The manual does not specify what change number it is or what its last revision date was, but according to the interim change summary it incorporates up to interim change number 46.

Thanks for the reply
