What's the release date for the update? Next week? Next month? Next year? Never?

I bought the F-14x just so I could complain about how stupid it is that a tacpac enabled simulation doesn't function with tacpack features like aircraft carriers and tankers. It's really stupid and shoddy work on aerosoft's part.

Hmm, I tend to be a fairly blunt person and can tell you that I have no interest in responding to a post like that. However, history has shown that if you choose to converse like an adult, then I'm happy to supply meaningful answers.

If we ask respectfully could we get an ETA on the update ?, so please sir could we have a update on the update of the F-14 ?

This was posted in the list of fixes thread, so hopefully not too far off now.

Rest assured, we are hard at work. There is a fairly hard deadline to get something out before Christmas.

 

 

A little more detail. By this weekend we're hoping to have many of the 'universal' updates finished that will go into all the base simulators, and we'll then move on to P3D specific features and minor bug squashing until everyone gives it a thumbs up.....as noted, with a strong emphasis to get it out the door by Christmas.

Hey John,

Any chance we could get an idea of what all is going to be included in this update? I am really hoping for the ability to release flares/chaff manually and stop losing all my countermeasures after a missile goes active even if it isn't targeting me.
