Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted November 5, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted November 5, 2015 The bus, or better saying the simulator can't create a blue screen, as they are in the so called user mode. Only programs in kernel mode can do so. That are usually device drivers. Please make sure that be up to date in terms of your drivers and Windows update. If you still face a blue screen afterwards, we need more information about your system, especially a photo of your blue screen would be of help. Aerosoft Jonas S. 466 Posted November 6, 2015 Aerosoft Share Posted November 6, 2015 We didn't have a single blue screen with the installer whilst testing. And just as Tom already said, blue screens are not produced by a single program. What hardware do you all use? Did you update recently? Deputy Sheriffs Hanse 216 Posted November 6, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted November 6, 2015 Hi, I myself experienced similar problems with the Aerosoft Airbus e. g. CTD's as well as BSOD's after changing to P3D V3. I never had such problems in V2.5 using the same scenery settings. I could solve my problems only by using the scenery DEFAULT settings. Together with a hardware specialist I found out that P3D V3 is much more sensitive to your individual overclocking settings than V2.5. So after changing my overclocking settings to the Intels standard TURBO mode my problems were solved....... Regards, Hanse

Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted November 6, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted November 6, 2015 And that's exactly what Tom explained here: http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/101203-airbus-131-blue-screen/&do=findComment&comment=713475 When you google for BSOD + win32k.sys, you'll find tons of entries and all of them point to problems with hardware and/or drivers, as only they can cause BSODs. When you claim that you only get it with the Airbus, then you were lucky until now, as no other software communicated/called functions in drivers or dlls being faulty and causing such a BSOD. I experienced something similar long time ago with an highend aircraft from another very wellknown developer. I could solve it by falling back to an older graphic device driver until in a later version of the driver the problem was solved. But in this case: nothing that Aerosoft can do and as you see in the post from user "yerco" above yours, simply updating Win 7 solved the problem. simdown42 0
Blue screen here in FSX when trying to load with both A320/A321 and A318/319 1.31 after successful install and reinstall twice. Never had problem before with 1.30 and all other addon aircraft appear to be loading ok as usual so looks like a 1.31 problem. Fortunately I still have version 1.30 but not the hotfix. Anyone help with that please? Will it help to re download the aircraft? I believe I read they were fixed. Thanks

g5flyer 6
I reverted back to 1.30 and now getting the same issue. Everything was fine prior to 1.31. I wonder whats different between the two as far as systems are concerned.

simdown42 0
Looks like something is seriously going on with 1.31. I'll fly without the Airbus if I have to. I'm not reinstalling Windows 7 and spending a lot of time trying to fix an install that should work like all my other addon planes. Hope we have better news soon. Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted November 9, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted November 9, 2015 From the 6 different people facing blue screens only one posted a screenshot yet, as requested. Guys, if you want some serious help you need to need to provide some information and not just claim that you face the problem as well and say that you hope the problem will be fixed. george bardanis 0
hi, can we repair the file win32k.sys without format?
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted November 9, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted November 9, 2015 This is a question you should ask Microsoft, as that's they module. I suggeest to Google for "win32k.sys" and see if any of the tons of hits you get there fixes the problem for you. As no bluescreen ever showed up on the AS developer, internal test machines and external beta tester machines there is currently no other help/suggestion possible. If it would be reproducible for us we could try to find another workaround, but it isn't.
