gordonrd45 1
So I started this conversation elsewhere but decided to move it to its own thread. I have installed the new Rome scenery and am pleased with it. However, it uses SODE, for now, to move the jetways that have wheels. Frankly, I don't care about that feature because I will wait for ASE support in the future but it has created another problem. The SODE has been mapped mapped to SHIFT + hyphen, which is used in in a special way (as is it's counterpart SHIFT + =) in multiple places within FSX to code for decrement a setting (zooming in small amounts , radio tuning, etc). So every time I issue a decrement related command within FSX that relies on this function, I get the SODE window popping up irrelevantly, like when I go to incrementally zoom a cockpit view which also maps to SHIFT + hyphen. I can't simply remap SHIFT+ hyphen within FSX because of how this particular function works. The decision to map the SODE to SHIFT + hyphen is problematic. TAB + S much less of a problem. So does anyone have a suggestion how to disable SODE without otherwise harming the scenery except for losing moving jetways?
