Where do I place the polygons at?

Hi all,

I've been using AES for quite the amount of time now, but still don't know where to place the boxes at beside various aircraft doors and cargo doors..

Are the two red lights supposed to go at the very edge of the door frame, or is the entire polygon supposed to be inside the aircraft? I've normally done it as a mix of both but I'd rather now just to get it right for all of them after reinstalling everything.

 

Another thing. I read an article here about the cargo. Is there actually supposed to be cargo that is pulled out from the bays? If not, that's fine as I've never seen it done before, but I was just curious if I've been missing out on something.
