If you ask me, it's abandoware... unfortunately.

Yeah totally agree, the lack of interest from Aerosoft over this product does point to that… Yet they are still charging double the cost of Navigraph (see my above post ref the pricing difference between the two :() for fewer features.

  2. Navdata pro charts one month €9.97.. Add the actual nav data €10.57 which adds up to €20.54 a month ... ...vs Navigraph for just €9.05 a month.. for that you get both charts and navdata plus all the extra features on top … it's a no-brainer I'm afraid, Navdata pro is too overpriced for what you get … Plus, no updates or new features in years ... yes i prefer the look of the Navdata charts but cannot justify paying over 20 euros a month when i can get a far better deal with the Navigraph data and charts for much less

  3. Its coming up to a year since any info and NavData pro still looks the same as it did , sadly Navigraph seems the better value for money at the moment, i do prefer the Navdata pro charts but im not prepared to pay nearly the same as navigraph with fewer features so sticking with Navigraph

Totally agree with you, support for anything P3D related has disappeared, but they will still sell P3D products at top prices,me for one will not purchase anything off them again, they have lost me as a customer who has spend £100s and £100s of pounds with them over the years.

    Gary Jones.

Sadly, I'm swinging that way too …I Had a lot of time for Aerosoft in the past and their customer support at the time was great towards me but since they have treated us P3D users like this since MSFS has come out i cant see me spending any more money on their products

  5. Sadly i can't see Aerosoft fixing this now .. They are more interested in MSFS, leaving us P3D Airbus users with a half finished product :(  ... I mainly Fly X plane now, at least the Airbus's in that sim get regular updates and for XP12 too, they have not jumped ship and continue to support their customers.

Totally agree with you,but cant even get a Dev to reply to the post.

Sadly too busy with supporting MSFS stuff, leaving us P3D users to find our own answers or helping each other out. ive moved on to mainly flying Xplane 11 … At least the A319 ,A321 and A340 get supported and updated , the A340 got one a few hours ago, i really loved flying the Aerosoft Airbuses in P3D as we had regular updates but not now :(... regarding the autoland issue … it has been brought up in the past but nothing was ever done about it

  7. I have had the same , for now add a few knots to the landing speed and see how it goes, sadly don't expect any updates or help etc as they seem to have dropped the P3D Airbus and focusing on MSFS leaving us P3D users out in the cold :( :(..It's driven me to use Xplane more, as at least the Airbus in there is updated and supported regularly.

  8. How about looking at it like this … The reason you are not selling any more P3D stuff may be because most P3D users already have a lot of your products for it, It's been out a while so of course you're not selling any more stuff because there's nothing new to buy .... I bet if you were to make a new updated Gatwick that would really sell … i know a lot of P3D users that are crying out for an updated EGKK....check Vatsim or IVAO for busy Airports that are not covered by other developers or need an update then make them ... they will sell and MSFS sales are up because it's a new sim and users are wanting new Airports etc to replace the default so of course the sales are up for that.....

I still can't believe there's no more updates to the Airbus, that was coming along so well ,…now just its been dropped :( :( while the other Airbus developer is still providing regular updates,  i wish i had brought that now instead of keeping loyalty to Aerosoft.

Hi guys, I hope this helps you:  I have experienced this issue, mostly on turnaround flights (without quitting and restarting prepar3d).  I have managed to fix it by selecting hdg and then back to nav (pull/push heading knob)

Yeah, that's what i have had to do as well , i don't think we will see Airbus updates any more, sadly … Really a shame as they have deserted P3D :(

    To be blunt, no.

All development for P3D is stopped as we simply can't make any money on it. Of course there are still a lot of P3D users, just as we still have a lot of FSX users. But users are not customers. Sales for the older sims have simply crashed, the only platforms that are still commercially viable are X-Plane and MSFS.

Not our preference, the more sims, the happier we are.

Does that mean the updates and patches have stopped for the P3Dv5  Airbuss? :(

  11. It's one of these bugs which is very hard to track down sadly which i guess is why no fix has been found, ..... I had it a few time the other day, a workaround i use is to go to selected speed then using the MCDU go direct to the next fix (even the one you are already doing to) using the DIR function then I find i can get back into managed speed mode.

At this moment there are no new updates or extensions of this P3D version planned. The reason is simple, sales for P3D add-ons has fully tanked.  When we release the MSFS version we will try to move the changes back to the P3D version is that is feasable for a limited budget.

Does this mean we will be seeing less and fewer updates/bug fixes for the Airbus in P3D? This is a little upsetting if its true as P3D (as well as Xplane) is my sim of choice atm, … I tried MSFS and although the graphics are fantastic the flight models and performance in some areas not so,..so  i have gone back to P3D and Xplane ,as a long time Aerosoft Airbus user this news is upsetting... i may have to bite the bullet and save for the completers Airbus.

Gents, the referenced post was from January. And v4 and v5 share the same code. As long as v5 is updated also v4 will get updates. But there are no plans for a PBR update of the smaller ones, as far as I know.

Brill thanks .. Not to worried about PBR on the smaller busses to be honest , much prefer system  upgrades, fixes etc .. Keep up the great work.

    Hi sir,

So if im not wrong,  the updates for the current buses of P3D V4.5 will be stopped ? im not asking about new models, just the product of it self, that was the last build almost 4 months ago, will become obsolete inmidiatly?

    thanks and cheers.

I hope this ain't true in that the updates will be stopping, i really enjoy flying the Airbus in P3D4.5 and can't afford to upgrade to P3DV5 just to keep the Airbuses updated

Hello again. I thought I would ask if someone from Aerosoft would know if there is any chance to get the download file for mega oslo v2 and stavanger x and vaernes x. The vendors I bought them from are no longer in business. Flightsimstore. I have been away for a long time and completely missed out on the flightsimstore closing down. I have the registration keys though.

Im not sure about Stavanger and Vaernes but if you go to the update section of the Aerosoft site you can registor Oslo v2 using your code so you might beable to download it from there , regarding the other two im sure Aerosoft will beable to help you in one way or another .. always found them helpfull .

Just to add, if it helps.  I am experiencing this problem as well.  I am currently doing a flight from NZQN to NZCH (not relevant I would think), but after I filled in the APPR Data into the MCDU and Activated it, that seemed to trigger the sudden N1 decrease in Managed Speed.I have to now manually Manage the speed. This may help, it may not mean anything, I just thought I would share.

    Regards

You might actually be activating Approach mode far too early ... i tend not to activate it till im close to the airport , when you activate APP mode the airbus will start to reduce to green dot speed then towards Vref if in managed mode when you lower the flaps etc , normally you fill out the APP page then wait to activate it on the approach or just before it.

1.2.4.1 Has shown no managed speed issues using 319, 320 and 321.  It does seem to be more "agressive" tracking during managed descent on an arrival, trying to play "catch" with the ball, snowflake, whatever the correct Airbus term is for the vertical profile indicator (litle green dot next to altitude tape).

Ive not had any managed speed issues for a while , I still think the desent profile  needs tweaking but im sure Aerosoft will fix it later...

    Thanks mate!

if you cant get them to work them make sure in the Aircraft entry in the readme file you select the correct Model, the FSX one may be blank so you will need to add a p3D4 Model to that entry ..

    eg

    model                    = CFMSHRK

    or

    model                    = CFM

    etc etc

That was for the A320s .. the 321s will have other models , just need to select one that shows up ok in P3D4
