  1. I used to like Simwings but that has changed in MSFS. I only use them if no other airport is available, it seems they still using old tech. ( at least I think its the case ) EDDM for example is the only airport in MSFS that has a significant FPS drop in VR when the lights go on, not seeing this elsewhere.

Emi is a long time friend, he worked for me in support while training for his license.  So is already involved, and has free access to all we do.

Good to hear he is involved, as he is a fellow PMDG tester, I know he is very nitpicking…😉

If you are sure this is not on the latest version of the A330 I am pretty sure you are not a simmer. Does not matter a lot as the question remains the same. Would a simmer (so not a professional) know how to handle this?

Pretty sure and I am a simmer and professional…😉

Simple answer: No fictious liveries from Aerosoft. This can be done by others.
Aerosoft only modells the A330-300 and TAP only operates the A330-200 and -900NEO

That is correct for right now, but they did operated the 330-343.

Edelweiss has no A330 anymore either…just saying.

Christian is placing the first windfarms. Of course they are all animated in rotation and wind direction. What you see is the windfarm on the Belgium/Dutch coast that has over 400 turbines. We still need to add the transformer platforms and the meteorological stations. You will lso see some vessels with maintenance people etc.

Please don’t make the same mistake as Asobo and placing static red lights on it. windturbines have red beacons…

First renderings with MSFS lighting for the VC. Still needs many layers of dirt, grime and wear, but the modeling is one of the cleanest you will have seen in the sim.

The decals fore the gear bay are also progressing very nicely.

That VC looks beautiful! I hope you guys still consider the A350 at some point, imagine the A350 flightdeck in that quality…amazing.

What's reflected and how it's reflected is in general handled by the graphics engine itself, simply speaking for a texture we just define if a part should be shiny and if so how shiny it should be :)
MSFS already reflects dynamic objects such as the user aircraft, however due to the way reflection maps are generated it's only visible when looking at the windows from a sharp angle.

Speaking of windows! Something that hasn't really been showcased yet is the parallax texture mapping used to generate fake building interiors around the airport. (No extra geometry, just smoke and mirrors.)

Very nice and sad at the same time, as you would see your aircraft on a lot of terminals wich have glass and not only from sharp angles, now that I know it’s already implemented.

As I said, this is not a normal release. Jo (and the internal team that does the VDGS plugin for this and many other of our airports) really use it as a testbed of what is possible.

Let me show you two images I made today.

This is the level of detail that is possible in the sim at this moment.  It is staggering if you compare that to what we were used to only 3 years ago.

Amazing indeed. Would it be technically possible today, to have terminal glass reflections to see your own aircraft at the gate? I know that nobody would do that for performance reasons.
