  1. Hi

Firstly I have read this topic, but couldn't reply because it was locked:

    http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/51746-aes-transfer-to-new-computer/#entry351313

I have finally made the move from FS9 to FSX. I have bought a new machine for FSX, I have removed everyhing from my old PC that contains AES and FS9 and the add ons that used AES.

    1) I have always bought my AES credits from Simnmarket dating back from 2007 till present, I have a record on simmarket of these codes, can I still use them without having to copy the previous files on my PC to my new machine, ie, could I simply reactivate those Airports that are compatible with FSX?

    2) Are the credits valid for FSX versions, for example using UK2000 Manchester FS9, can this be used with FSX now without having to buy additional credits?

    Thanks

  2. Dougal,

I have both LHR Version from Aerosoft and UK2000.

Now in my opinion the advantage of Aerosoft:

. The details on Air Bridges and Terminal 1 Silver roof and around Bath road is excellent, and good ground marking.

. You can download a file via Aerosoft support which reduces the Green lighting intensity

    Disdavantage of Aerosoft:

No updtaes planned for the scenery, and you never get a reply via Sim Wings

.Terminal 5 not modelled well at all

.Night lighting makes it look like FS default, IE not like Paris CDG Sim Wings or Frankfurt

    UK2000 LHR Extreme,

    Excellent Ground vehicle movements

    Excellent Night lighting effect

    Excellent replica of LHR T5

The only negative comments, is that the Bath Rd is not as detailed as Aerosoft.

Overall, I like them both, but I have decided to stay with UK2000 as there is future updates and the scenery is slighly better in my opinion.

  3. Hello Flight Conex,

They refer to the Terminal 5 patch which is available from the FAQS/Updates Section at www.aerosoft.com

Its called, "T5" patch for Mega Airport Heathrow 2008/FSX"

    Thanks Shaun,

I guess I miss read them, although personally it would be great if they updated the night lighting around the apron like MEGA CDG.

    Thanks again.

  4. Jure,

Can I ask you a question, with regards to the Static Aircraft Scenery, all most of the airlines parked at the correct terminal? for example do you see BA Aircrafts a Terminal 4 and 1 instead of terminal 3 like the screenshots.

Any chance you could post a screenie of LHR at night, as the simwings show it a dusk.

    Thanks

  5. Acording to Flightstore they say it is now going to be possibly mid November 2007, the same time probaly as Uk2000 scenery, for some strange reason these devlopers are hesitating to release it before thier competitors, if this goes on, it will probaly be another year or until the new Flight Sim is out.

  6. Guys, just to give you all an update, I last spoke to Flightstores and they now say to me that the developers have now said that the release of Mega Heathrow will be 1st July 2007 at the earliest or possible even towards Oct 2007.

Shame that they couldn't just release the FS9 version in the meanwhile.

  8. Its now April 2007, some sort of update would be nice.

A company that advertises in PC Pilot, stated on the phone that it would not be till Jun 2007 that LHR will be released, they were saying that since Dec 2006, I was hoping they where incorrect.

Maybe just some friendly kind advice, but probaly best not to advertise a product when the release dates just keep going back and back with no updates, but thats just my opinion.

Best of luck with your continued development, and hopefully oneday we may see some screenshots.

  9. Can you at least consider releasing FS9 Version??

Last spoke to Flightstore, and they now claim that whilst awaiting compatibilty for FSX, it could be up to Sept 2007 before the products released. No disrespect to FSX users, but its a long time for FS9 users to wait.

  10. Yes I agree an update would be nice, on aerosoft website it still says DEC 2006.

Now you can have a go at me, but I know the developers are fed up of people asking for updates, but at the end of the day, if you announce a product nearly a year in advance, then you should expect equiries.

Would appreciate even a small amount progress report, I hope that is not asking too much.

    Thanks in advance.
