  1. Ok, then I have no idea, what happens there. The Terminal with the holder of the case (not visable on your screen, covered by the to low placed case) is set the same way in the code, only difference it is a normal sceneryLib object.

Looks like the Sim handles them different in some conditions.

  2. I try another way to place the Case, maybe that fix this issue.

    - First make a Backup of the Gran Canary Package, so you can go back, if the test failed.

    - The unpack the attached file to the simwings-airport-gclp-gran-canaria folder and replace the Layout.json, manifest.json in the root folder

and the GCLP_Airport.bgl in subfolder ..\scenery\sim-wings\GCLP

This fix is only for testing, not yet offical, so use only on your own risk :)

Also update the VDGS Library to minimum 1.3.0 via AerosoftONE, which is released today.

    Test_Update_Gran_Canaria_1-0-1.zip

  3. I can only speak for the sim-wings products (Hamburg, Munich, Tennerifa, La Palma and Ibiza), where the Aerosoft VDGS Systems will be added, but we need some time, because some needed Developers are out of office for some days and the update/installer change must also be done.

Da wurden alle Add-on Hersteller kalt erwischt.

I do this for myself... DM me to send beats or for callabs | Angry emoji, Emoji pictures, Angry face emoji

Hi @OPabst, have you tried the BGLC lights in v5? I know support was canceled in v4.

But I noticed that old SCASM scenery is working again in v5.

No and it is not a solution, as it has no future.

And BGLC is and was generally working over all versions and does it in V5, the Safegates display still use it (but here I can switch when needed)

But for the runwaylights Tranform/RotationCalls are very important, otherwise it will be extrem complex and slow performing. And this was brocken somewhere in P3D V3 times and I don‘t expect, that this really as changed. And without Intelliscene it will not be contollable under weatherconditions.

  6. There is a general problem with Lightsources at daytime in P3D, special under bad weather condition.
P3D has no real Lightsources, expect the default runway lights of the afcads.

In the old BGLC code useable in FS9/FSX, the „lightdot“ was existing, which could be controlled flexible in all conditions.

The afcad runwaylights are no real alternative, because they are no configurable to have a realistic runway and approach lights, only flat and not fitting to the need of the most airport situations.

Effects could not be used, as they will bring down the performance and are not able to have a one direction facing, which is needed for approachlights and the different colors of the run edge lights.

So, the only way is the texture based solution we used in EDDF, but also in the most other professional addons. This is fine in darkness, but at daytime the selflighting is in some conditions maybe to dark to be good visible. But there is no real solution possible yet.

When you have the new Sim-wings Pro Hamburg or Munich Addons, then you can try it there, because we have an option there, to switch the intensity of the runwaylights in the possible range (see Button in the baseline of the Configtools). Maybe the 100% there is better, then the actual intensity used for Frankfurt.
When is time, I will try to implement this option in Frankfurt too.

If there will be an update price for the P3D V4 version or not is the decision of the respective developer or developer-team and not our decision.

... and Aerosoft is happy to sell the products, as this is the money they are pay from at the end of the Month.

The developer, as long as he has no sponsor (Papa,Mama or so), must pay his bills too. This will be impossible, if you work weeks to make the product compatible for a new plattform, optimize the code for the needs of the new simulator engine, add new feature and so on and everybody gets it as a gift for free. We don't talk about bugfixing here, as long as the P3D V4 is not defined as a full repayed Bugfix of V3 ;)

Software is not building it self, there are humans behind, which spend time and knowhow into it, this needs a refund (payment) as every person request for the job they do.

Everybody can use the addons he has payed for on that plattform they was developted and selled. When he change the plattform (by paying the full price for in many parts the same code btw) must expect, that addons needs invest to follow the changes and need to be updated for the new parts with a small fee.
