  1. Mathijs, any thoughts on making it 3 activations per year rather than just 3 activations?

Making 3 activations per year is in my opinion useless.

Last month i bought a new PC with 2 SSD drives in Raid0 but there were a lot of problems with it because of the Raid controller.

The computer was "hanging" several times a day.

After two weeks i did a re-install of windows and all my programs, but still the same problems.

Another re-install but now with the 2 SSD drives as seperate drives C and D.

Everything seems to be OK now but it should mean that my 3 activations of Aerosoft software has been used for coming 11 months.

A little change in the Bios, or a new graphic card etc. and you're in trouble.

So 3 activations a year isn't the solution.

    My two cents,

    Fabian,thanks for your reaction.

The old forum was working fine, so the best change is going back to that forum. :)

    Simple as that.

  3. Seems to me aerosoft airport releases get AES interm releases within a week but for some reason we are kept waiting long periods of time for other sceneries. Lot of us are still waiting for fsdt's DFW that was released before gilbratar x yet that one is already available....

There's a considerable difference in the number of gates of FSDT's KDFW and Aerosoft's Gibraltar........it's almost like comparing apples and pears.

  4. Oliver, I think you misunderstand what ridgey is saying. Someone like myself who has version 1 with AES will now effectively be paying 6 or 7 credits to have version 2, while a brand new user will only pay 5. Unless the new user also pays 6 or 7 credits, it feels like those of us who've been loyal to you are being penalized for upgrading.

You're not penalized for upgrading, you only pay 1 or 2 credits extra for a new version of EGLL, you don't have to do that and can use version 1.0

It's just like buying a new car.

When you sell that car after a few months because of a new model of that same car, then you also have to pay an extra amount and don't get that car for free.

Oliver has to do a lot of extra work for this new version of EGLL and that's why it isn't strange that you have to pay some extra credits.

    Just my idea.

  5. Hello Andqui,

The only thing I can suggest is to un-install the scenery and if using WIndows Vista/7 is to right click on the installer Icon when re-installing and select, "run as Administrator" then see if the textures re-appear.

Put all the textures from your Budapest scenery in the standard Textures map of FS9 and i think that your problem will be solved.

    Just my 2 cents.

  6. Dear Oliver,

There is another issue with LROP.

At the west side of the airport is a highway with a lot of traffic (cars, trucks, etc.) but after activating LROP in AES all this traffic disappears.

Not a big problem for me but i liked to let you know.

  7. It is called bglman and has a few data files associated to it. Not clear why it is there and what it does. I will put that one and its associates in a safe place and see what happens.

    Thanks and kind regards,

    René

    Hello René,

The bglman.dat and dll are used by the sceneries of Cloud9 and FSDreamteam.

These sceneries won't work without them.
