  1. Try to disable trueglass.dll it is not really compatible yet with V5 it seems (trueglass is by TFDI and not an aerosoft prtoduct)

  3. Hello I got one of those infamous CTD when increasing my map range. I know this was an issue in the past but unfortunately it happened to me just minutes ago with the latest experimental and v5.1 (both client+ content installed) No event log to report either, just sent me straight to desktop =/ Anyone else have this?
  4. While you are correct in the general assessment that the OBI does not seem to center on offside VHF NAV source, the color is actually correct. Onside (normal) VHF NAV source is displayed in green. Just as "FMS2" on F/O side would be white needles. Offisde NAV source (regardless of VHF NAV or LRN) is yellow
  5. It's the basic AP pitch mode. You have three ways of manipulating the aircraft in climb / descent: V/S IAS / MACH hold PITCH hold
  6. This is not correct. Real autopilot treats ALTS as follows: "Altitude preselect mode is automatically selected upon selection of any vertical mode, except glide-slope capture or overspeed" So PITCH mode should not cause an overshoot.

Again this might be user-error on my part but here goes: Is it planned to replace the flashing green "ALTS" FMA indicator when pre-selected altitude is captured to the "ALTS CAP" sub mode? (this mode is not an armed mode so it's never shown in white) Same logic would apply when you push the ALT button. ALT CAP is followed by ALT after altitude capture. When climbing in IAS XXX (observe: not in CLB XXX) and passing auto changeover altitude of 31.600ft the display should be MACH . XX (and vice-versa). I am unable to see this transition on my FMA? "The vertical mode indicator displays the following during autopilot hold: ● IAS XXX—IAS hold ● MACH .XX—Mach hold Auto Changeover Changeover between speed and mach occurs automatically as the aircraft ascends or descends through 31,600 feet. A climb in IAS mode is shown as IAS XXX. At 31,600 feet, the reference is automatically switched to MACH .XX." Sorry for my posts about attopilot and AP status annunciators. But I really like the AS CRJ and want it to be as accurate it can be within the confines of P3D....also when Aerosoft slapped the "professional"-tag on this product, I think it's a fair expectation to have the AP of the CRJ faithfully simulated. Ok so had the chance to do two takeoffs today (no video unfortunately) FCP variables: HDG= Runway heading SPEED selected= V2+10KTS ALTITUDE= 6000FT On the ground FMA: TO TO After gear up FMA: TO ALTS (which is not right since I pushed SPEED button) 400FT RA FMA FMS1 ALTS (still not able to select IAS mode) 1000FT RA FMA: FMS1 IAS XXX (finally IAS mode can engage, but seems like 1000FT RA is some kind of threshold for me?) Following this profile from the manual:

  10. Hello If I'm not mistaken, the SEL button worked in the old CRJ. However in CRJ PRO I have no way of accept or cancel data entry messages. The SELect button is not clickable for me. Any advice?
  11. I suffer from same symptoms. Will try to post a video tomorrow. I use the same Linda module that worked for the old CRJ and had no issues there. And I have tried pushing speed button on FCP, but ALTS is displayed as pitch FMA. It's not until I get to around 1000' AGL that I can select IAS mode.

  14. Hello. I wonder how the math is performed to calculate Fuel onboard at destination? Consider my screenshot below. EICAS (far left) is showing 1390 KG FoB. FMS calculates 1200KG remaining upon arrival at ESSA (Arlanda, Stockholm). but...MFD2 is indicating 1355KG upon arrival So is the FMS calculation based on missed approach segment or why do the numbers not match? (maybe they shouldn't, but common sense would indicate they should match?) PS isn't Fuel remaning at my alternate (ESKN) very low, consider it's 131NM at FL100 but calculated fuel burn is a mere 75KG? Any ideas? Thanks in advance and have good weekend!
  15. Speed on elevator mode? I have had the same issues as a matter of fact, from time to time.... after lift-off I attempted to engage IAS mode but FMA instead showed ALTS.

  17. Hello Some moments ago the autopilot did not capture FCP ALT (37.000ft) and just blew past it. ALTS was armed submode. Shouldn't PITCH mode be able to transition into ALTS ? Had I not intervened, the aircraft would've just continued to climb. Has this happened to anymore else than just me? Thanks in advance

  19. Gotcha, that is lost is translation. In my language "known" (which is what I wanted to write) can be easily interpret as sensed if you are not careful with the dictionary 😁
  20. Odd, here is another example, taken after landing. And there are more images on the great internet where windpointer is shown and aircraft is parked. (always a direct HW vector and speed = TAS) https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/8701964 Maybe the logic is different on different air frames? But the TAS calcuation should be done by the Air data system. So If we have a sensed TAS and IRS/GPS is feeding 0 groundspeed, perhaps wind pointer will just be a HW vector and speed equal to TAS? "The air data system provides the following air data parameters: Pressure altitude and barometric--corrected altitude Vertical speed, indicated airspeed, Mach number and true airspeed (TAS)" ...And more..."

Hello Minor detail, but this has been a slight pet peeve of mine since the original CRJ How can the CRJ depict a talwind on the ND while the aircraft is stationary on the ground (parked at a remote stand, for instance) I understand that the system should be able to detect the relative headwind velocity and vector, when at a complete stand still, but a tailwind? Example from the sim, and should not be possible: (BTW the PBR version of Aerosoft's EDDK is outstanding!) Example from real world, TAS 6kts, GS 0kts and notice the wind indicator and aircraft heading. Thanks for a very fine release! BR
