  1. Hi Peter, Many thanks for looking at this for me. I will raise a query with Orbx as you suggest. To confirm what you suggested, I started a flight direct with P3DV4 (No simStarter) and still received the message. Regards, Mervyn
  2. Hi, Apologies for the delay, but this is the first chance since I posted to try this. Please find the message screenshot (seems to be P3D based) and the zipped Debug pack as requested. Regards. Mervyn 20200612-23h22m59_SIMstarterNG_DebugPackage.zip
  3. Hi, I have a lot of sceneries on my P3DV4.5 setup and I have relied on your excellent product to start various choices of aircraft, scenery etc for quite a while now. The latest version (with all updates v2.07 rev 50) is on my system but a problem has emerged ever since I have updated my Orbx Australia scenery to version 2. Now, regardless of what scenery I am loading I see the following error: "Path not found: D:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3d v4\ORBX\FTX_AU\FTXAUv2_05_SCENERY\scenery\*_objectflow.xml" There is an OK box (only option) which clears the error and continues loading. This could well be my lack of understanding here, but could you advise if this should be trying to load when I'm flying in Europe say and have excluded Australia from scenery loading? I also just took a flight from Johannesburg ICAO code FAOR, but in Simstarter I had to load it as the old ICAO code of FAJS. The correct code is in Prepar3d however. Is this an error or something historic with the sim? I do use fsAerodata which updates all navs, VOR's etc. Thanks for your help in advance, Regards Mervyn Edwards
  4. ** Fixed ** After researching the matter of the OCX file not being correctly registered, I used regsvr32.exe to manually register the dll and ocx files. After rebooting I was able to run the DB manager and FSC now works fine. Regards Mervyn
  5. Yes I have installed FSX, Acceleration and FSC all with administrator rights. Regards Mervyn
  6. I have recently had to recover my system from a hardware issue and have re-installed everything afresh. I am having an issue installing FSC. I downloaded 8.6 from my order, but when installing I receive the following error: c:\windows\system32\mfc40.dll an event is unable to invoke any subscribers The only options are OK or cancel. Taking OK seems to complete the installation, but I then receive the following database error: COMDLG32.OCX or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid The database manager will not run and that of course is the first step before trying to run FSC. Any help would be appreciated. Im using 32 bit Windows 7. Regards Mervyn Edwards
  7. Details sent as requested. Thanks Mervyn
  8. I have just completely reinstalled FSX and acceleration along with all my add-ons after problems, but for some reason the internet authentication process is rejecting the serial number. I have confirmed via the website in my account that the number is correct. Can anyone help please? Thanks in advance Mervyn
