As already mentioned, this repaint is only semi-realistic as the NASA DC-8 is a 60 model. However, the livery looks quite good on the 50 model as well

Unfortunately there is no trick...only a lot of trial and error. You have to move the different parts pixel by pixel until everything fits. For the tail logo I would take a look at the liveries that are included in the paintkit. That gives you a good indication.

Hallo,
ist es eigentlich beabsichtigt, dass das Follow-Me Fahrzeug so schnell fährt? Sobald ich es nach verlassen der Landebahn anfordere, schießt es ziemlich flott am Flugzeug vorbei und ist kaum noch einzuholen. Erst mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 25-30 Knoten ist es mir möglich, mit dem Follow-Me Fahrzeug Schritt zu halten. Allerdings nur bis zur ersten Kurve, da das Follow-Me Fahrzeug die ebenfalls recht sportlich und ohne merkliches abbremsen nimmt.
Habe ich vielleicht irgendeine Einstellung übersehen?

auch von mir nochmal vielen Dank für dieses gelungene Update
Bisher war es bei Flugzugen - die über Airstairs verfügen - möglich über die Höhe der Tür (< 1.5m no Stair / < 1.3m no Catering / < 1.1m no Jetway) einzustellen, ob die Treppe an das Flugzeug geschoben wird oder nicht. Auch die Kombination Catering Fahrzeug / keine Treppe war möglich. Seit der Version 2.20 scheint dies aber nicht mehr möglich zu sein:
In diesem Fall ist eine Türhöhe von 1,4m eingestellt. Erst bei einer Türhöhe von 1m kommt die Treppe nicht mehr - aber dann erscheint auch das Catering Fahrzeug nicht.
Ich weiß nicht, ob das nun tatsächlich ein Bug ist oder die Funktion im Zuge der Umstellung auf AES NG erst einmal weggefallen ist. Aber ich dachte mir, ich lasse dich das einfach mal wissen

I think the best way would be to contact the Aerosoft support. It shouldn't be much work for them to supply you with the mipmaped textures

but the new version of Hannover is flickering far too much to keep a place at my HD ... any possibility to change this ?
Yes, just add mipmaps to the textures. You can do that with the Imagetool from the FS9/FSX SDK.
I'm a little bit surprised that the GAP Team hasn't done that in Hanover, Dortmund and Munster/Osnabruck. Without mipmaps one gets flickering problems at these three airports.

Hi,
whenever I try to land in Aerosoft's Mega Airport Amsterdam the FS9 just stops working and I have to close it via Ctrl+Alt+Del. This happens as soon as I fly into a radius of approx. 20nm around EHAM. When I load EHAM out of the starting menu and use it for departure everything works fine.
I have never experienced such problems with another Mega Airport or German Airport.
Maybe someone has an idea how to solve this?

you can find the notice in the April/May issue on the lower right-hand corner of the editorial. According to Mr. Groner, Aerosoft has decided to concentrate its resources on X-Plane 10.

das liegt dran das wir leider bei der auch nicht an die Optimierung für deine "etwas exotische" Auflösung gedacht haben.
Was bitte ist an dem XGA Grafikstandard exotisch? Viele Smartphones, Netbooks und auch das Ipad haben eine Auflösung von 1024x768 Pixel. Exotisch ist wahrlich etwas anderes...
