The profiles you created don't seem to be working for X-Plane 11 under macos. Have they been tested with this operating system? After I downloaded them, I tried to import them via the honeycomb-configurator. The downloaded .json and .txt files are shown as greyed out and cannot be imported. Maybe the previous posters are operating on macOS as well. Is it a problem with the configurator that is still being worked on? Sadly this isn't working for me.
  1. Honeycomb configurator for X-Plane 12

What are Aerosoft's/Honeycomb's plans for supplying better integration for X-Plane 12 and for MAC. The long heralded configurator tool 2.2 for Mac has still no materialised.

I am also desperately looking for the download link of the 2.1 configurator tool and AFC Bridge Plugin to install into XP-12 vanilla.

    Can you please repost it.

  2. It would be terrific if users specified their operating system in order to not get hopes up too high. As of now profiles destined for Windows folks are not working for MacOSX folks due to the formatting of configurator profiles. Along these lines it would be great to receive some pinned info by Aerosoft when the new configurator 2.2 will be made available?
  3. 1. How do I get the downloaded profiles from the aerosoft site to import into the configurator?

Below I posted screenshots for point 1. and it shows the profiles I downloaded greyed out.

I watched the tutorials for the config tools intensely, but did not see how it was actually carried out.

    2. How will these profiles be assigned or utilised within X-Plane 11 or in other words how does the X-Plane settings page know there are profiles available for a certain aircraft Type?

    3. What would be the best approach when configuring the honeycomb yoke or throttle in X-Plane, given profiles are already available from Aerosoft. Deleting all previous profiles and starting fresh for each aircraft?

    Screenshots to point 1 above:

In the acitivity settings tab an import of profiles is not possible.

Is there an explanation as to why the configurator does not see these profiles.

If I copy and paste them manually, some are shown inside the configurator and some are not. Could it be that some of the profiles cannot be read due to a different format. I noticed this when opening the profiles in a text editor.

I assume that the AFC bridge hands the profile settings over to X-Plane. But how do I know in X-Plane settings which profile is available. The bindings command somehow only sees the generic profile and not the ones that came from Aerosoft download page.

I would appreciate if anyone on a mac can confirm that the profiles he/she created can be utilised in X-plane to create aircraft specific profiles. How is a AFC Bridge profile tied to an X-Plane aircraft profile?
