I purchased Manhatten X and am experienceing spikes from the top of buildings, what causes this to happen, I thought I had enough memory to handle this scenery?

My system specs:

Intel Core2 Duo processor

This going to show how little knowledge I have regarding flight sims. Even after reading the directions for FSMap I do not understand how to make the SimConnect work. I do have the Professional version of FSX with the SimConnect and thought all I had to do was install FSMap and it would work. I only have one (1) computer using FSX. I have put the guages on all the planes I wanted to use the program on as the instuctions say but they do not show up in the panels. Obviosly I don't know what I am doing. Could someone explain how I go about getting this program to work, it sounds like a great program but I can't seem to get it to work. Thank you.

Never mind, I downloaded the Fsmap manual and found it will work with SP1, sorry.

Totally impossible, it is at least 5 times too complex to be used in FS2004.

Thank you Shaun for the reply. Obviously, I assumed this was an upgrade to AspenX 1.00 with a &19.87 charge which apparently it is not. At any rate I think I can see where I messed up. Any chance of getting a refund after my goof up?

But you try un-installing Aspen X using the Add/Remove programs, then delete the AspenX folder if it still exsists, then try a re-install of the latest file.

Can I also ask as to why you repurchased the scenery as this was not necessary.

You may also want to check the scenery library to make sure you dont have 2 entries for AspenX if you do delete the oldest entry."

I didn't check to see if it installed correctly assuming it had but when I loaded FSX to Aspen all the buildings were missing, obviously I did something wrong or do not understand what I am suppose to do. I thought I was updating AspenX from version 1.00 to 1.10 version was I in error? I do not understand what has happened because whenever I installed an update in the past it went into the folder of the previous version.

I see you mention doing the Super Cub in past tense here for FSX and read of people installing it on their computers. First of all, how far away is the Super Cub for FSX and also I assume people are speaking about the FS2004 version being installed, right?

Thanks for the quick reply. I asked the question about the black screen as I have not been experiencing that prior to these flights, must be a conflict with something else I have and Freight Dogs.

I figured when I got a assignment to a location that the location would be included in FS2004 or Freight Dogs, apparently that is not the case.

No, I am not using FS9.1 should I be?

I just tried to fly a Cargo flight from Sechelt-Gibsons to Tipella B.C. and after about 6 minutes into the flight I got the black screen, had sound but a black screen. What would cause this to happen?

Also, I had tried a flight from Sechelt-Gibsons to King George Airpark and When I tried to set up a flight plan with FSNavagator the King George Airpark is not listed in the British Columbia list of airports of my FS2004.

Another thing, when I accept an assignment I have to print screen and copy the assignment menu because when I hit the F1 button it only stays on for a couple of seconds and I can't read and remember the assignment in that short a time (I am an old codger). I try to hit the F1 again and nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong or what? Thanks.
