  1. I understand that in order to configure the autoland, I have to input the VOR and course. But when it comes to the DME, where do I find that number on the chart? Sorry if I sound stupid, but I'm not used to having to add that on any other heavy I have.

  2. Johnny, thats cool!

    ... look here!

Now, that's cool, although I didn't understand the language, but the photo is really cool. I love the winglet on that Airbus. Is that the way the new Airbus X Extended will look like in Frontier Airlines livery colors?
  3. I wasn't satisfied with the old "Eagle" Frontier Airline livery I found on line, so I decided to make my own and enhance the eagle a bit. It's fictional because this eagle is slightly different from the real livery, but heck, it's FSX! lol

  4. So far so good, and I know you by now although I've never met you in real life. If there is one thing I've come to expect from you, it's that you know how to get it right. I'm a patient man my friend, after seen what you've done so far, I have no doubt that the wait will be worth it.

  5. Sure! show me what you got done so far buddy... :) By the way, not sure what paint program you're using, but did you try to use the burn feature to give it that highlight between the dark and lighter gold?

  6. I've tried two approaches to this airport and had the same results. I haven't done a circuit touch and go, or tried to view it from the exterior of the cockpit to see if the problem shows then. Like I said before, as far as the mesh, I haven't messed with the default mesh settings. I'll try changing it if that would help when I get back home tonight, see if fixes the problem.

  7. As I'm approaching Mountain Air runway 32, I notice a mount of obstruction at the beginning of the runway. After landing if I look back it's gone! I try several times the same approach, and I see it all over again. I have no special mesh, just what comes with FSX. Any idea why this problem would happen, and if anyone else experienced it before? Of course, I'm speaking about the airport that comes in Dangerous Airports 1.

  8. Okay Otto, I figured it out. There is a bgl and an AFCAD file in US CIties Chicago folder that duplicated my FlyTampa Midway buildings. I moved them to a backup folder, and now FlyTampa's airport is okay. As a matter of fact I did the same for FSDT O'Hare Airport, and their airport looks better now. Still have US Cities Chicago skyline, looking good now.

  9. I had already tried reinstallation, I always install as the administrator, and my FSX has its own dedicated drive. I've never used C:Program Files (x86), instead mine is D:FSX. My system is Win7. I was talking to Martin from FlyTampa, and he thinks that perhaps USCities has a AFCAD file for Midway, if so where would I find it?

  10. I wanted to know what other file might be in US Cities Chicago, that is causing my Midway Airport to show double towers. I know about the original problem when using FlyTampa Midway and US Cities, where I would have to set US Cities to use more of the autogen buildings and less of the US Cities custom buildings. I've done that for compatibility reasons, but I'm still showing two towers, and perhaps other buildings that I have not really taken a close look at. But for now I'm more concern about eliminating one tower since I know Midway doesn't have two like the once shown on this screenshot.
