A320 IAE PRO PAGE BETWEEN THROTTLES
Good day, I understand the the page which appears between the throttles when shutting down the aircraft is a "shame memo" for a poor landing? It does not seem to matter how perfectly one makes a landing, with the aircraft correctly setup for a landing in all respects, the memo always appears. Even a feather-lite touchdown triggers the memo. I would like to think that my landings after many years of practise are both safe and comfortable and I am tired of seeing the memo appear with every flight. Could the developers, or someone else, please explain how to remove the trigger for this memo. Your help will be much appreciated. Regards

INTEGRATION OF AEROSOFT WITH GSX
Hi Tom, Sorry about the delay in responding. My comments related to all the Aerosoft Airbus products in P3Dv4.5. FSDT seem to have a preference for MSFS and Navigraph's Simbrief and while I have addressed the matter in FSDT P3D forums, they don't even read any posts relating to P3D, let alone respond to them. I don't use Simbrief for my flight planning. Prefer Professional Flight Planner X, as it keeps things quick and simple. I suspect that when FSDT re-coded to use Simbrief, it was given preference in GSX. No matter, Tom, don't waste time on this. Aerosoft products work perfectly and I can simply ignore GSX failings. Regards.

INTEGRATION OF AEROSOFT WITH GSX
Good day, This topic has been thrashed out long ago, without resolution. However, since both products cost a lot of money, one would expect it to be the reponsibility of developers to ensure when they say the integration works, that that is the reality. The debates around the subject matter were eventually ended by Aerosoft simply closing the topic, leaving, I suspect, many users unsatisfied. My experience with using Aerosoft aircraft and GSX is that I can use the loadsheet, or GSX, on a mutually exclusive basis. If I want to use GSX to define the number of passengers, I must not load the fuel planner's loadsheet in the aircraft's MCDU3. Alternatively, if I load the loadsheet first, which is needed to program the MCDU for flight, GSX's request for number of passengers simply does not respond when requesting boarding. Where is the integration? Perhaps the developers who were responsible for programming the interface, should explain how the integration was designed to work. If my experience detailed above is, in fact, in accordance with the design, then at least I know that I must choose which one will be operative in loading passengers and their baggage. Aerosoft claimed in their arguments of long ago that it would be sufficient to use the loadsheet, as GSX reads those numbers to calculate the number of baggage carts, etc.. I have yet to see this working according to those claims. The result is invariably that GSX resorts to default. It would be great to have this issue finally resloved. Regards.

Aerosoft Crew Announcements
Hi Ben, In reply to your email query asking whether my question was answered, I can say it was answered but not resolved. I replaced the empty file with one containing the sounds, but it made no difference. Aerosoft have not provided the necessary triggers to make these files work, so what must users do when they are simply told the product is at the end of its life cycle. Has it ever occurred to Aerosoft that not all their customers want to change from P3D to MSFS, perhaps because their machines are not powerful enough for MSFS? Also, need I remind Aerosoft that their products are not free? I am surprised that Mathijs made the decision to remove sounds instead of leaving it to the users to choose whether they want to use them. It also appears that he has jumped ship, so there will presumably be no further help from him for P3D products. Regards, IQM

Aerosoft Crew Announcements
Hi and thank you for the welcome. It's not a product as far as I am aware. In the Aerosoft A330 Professional Base Sound_ASC folder there are a number of wav files relating to the aircraft, its crew etc. The one I am referring to is ASC_CC_CAB_Drinks.wav, which is empty. The movie and sandwiches wav files appear to be in order, but I have never heard the crew announcing that sandwiches will be served. Perhaps they were overlooked during the rush to get the A330 ready for customers. In any event, it would be great to have these sounds playing during a flight. These sounds are also missing in the other Aerosoft products. Regards.

Aerosoft Crew Announcements
It is unfortunate that Aerosoft decided to withdraw the crew announcement regarding the serving of drinks after the aircraft is at, say, cruise level. I understand that alcohol is prohibited on flights for good reason. However, there are many other forms of refreshment such as soft drinks, tea coffee, etc. Can this announcement not be re-worked to say that "the crew will now be serving you with tea, coffee or cold drinks"? I think this would enhance the Aerosoft products. After all, in the real world, passengers do not go without refreshments on flights, espescially long haul flights. The re-worked announcement could be made available in the form of a downloadable patch. Strongly recommended.
