  1. Hey K.S., you are probably going to be better served over at the UK2000 forum here: http://www.uk2000scenery.org/forum/index.php
  2. Moved this from the Katana 4X support forum to here.
  3. http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/56912-again-problem-with-ase-modul/#entry397002
  4. You may have to give some information about your setup, what hardware you use, specifically what you use to control rudder inputs, FSX version, OS, if you have a registered FSUIPC or not, and is your hardware calibrated through through FSUIPC, FSX, or even the joystick config tool. Have you seen this thread? Might fix your issue with the config: http://forum.aerosof...160#entry322174
  5. any hints to that serious discussion Mathijs???
  6. They haven't announced anything that I've seen, though I very well could be wrong. As Matt suggested their forums are over here: http://forum.flightsimdevelopmentgroup.com/
  7. Have you read this? Will probably solve your problem... http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/56574-aes-224-available/#entry394071
  8. I assume it is just the option of the installer software, might even be the only English option they offer to Aerosoft. Some websites do that as well, UK or US, either way it's all the same, lest you count colour vs. color, trunk vs. boot. Might have to take up the case with the actual installer creator, either way, I think there may be bigger fish to fry.....
  9. So just to be clear and out of curiosity, it's just the fact that it specifies "United States" instead of just "English" that bothers you.......?
  10. Very cool, thank you for sharing! Love the Kilimanjaro shot!
  11. Mathijs actually has an excellent guide regarding fps here, check it out! http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/30796-why-i-get-50-fps-in-fsx-and-you-might-not/
  12. Hey Eric, you've got the right place and yes it should be fine. The two suggestions I would make is that you have Windows User Account Control settings (UAC) turned off, and that you run the installer as an administrator! That should definitely alleviate most issues that users run into when installing sceneries.
  13. Also just double-triple check that you are installing with full admin rights within Windows as well as in your FSX main folder and fsx.exe as Herman suggested, including as well as having the Windows UAC turned off. Otherwise, just hang in there guys, I'm sure this will be worked out very soon.
  14. +1 to what CoolP said, and good luck with your PPL!
  15. CPU is everything. If you can put any more money into it, put it in the CPU. My two cents. I have those current specs and and relatively satisfied with how FSX performs on my system. All the sliders on the display settings are maxed except water, which is on low 2x, and autogen is down to normal. Autogen seems to be the number 1 FPS killer, though it is up for debate.
  16. The only 2d panel so far for the Airbus X Extended is the MCDU. Keep in mind this is still a work in progress and in beta. All of that info can be found in the dedicated preview of unreleased products forum for the Airbus X Extended found here: http://forum.aerosof.../page__st__2760 There is also a new FAQ section about the Airbus X Extended here: http://forum.aerosof.../forum/518-faq/
  17. Because they are from a public source. If you indeed have a paid account with Jeppessen then Otto is correct, you best make sure you have permission to share those charts publicly.
  18. With FSX running with the NGX loaded and parked at the gate of an AES enabled airport, window FSX (in other words not full screen). Open the AES control panel, which should be on your desktop. Click on "Set Aircraft Parameters", and click the button that says "Repair for Push". Click "Save Aircraft" and close the AES control panel and go back to FSX. Should be good to go.
  19. You need to have a joystick with a throttle axis to operate the thrust levers. It is listed as a System Requirement here on the product page: http://www.aerosoft....211018280,11177 System requirements: Microsoft Flight Simulator X (SP2, Acceleration or Gold Edition) Windows XP / Vista (32Bit or 64Bit) / Windows 7 with the latest Service Packs Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 + SP1 Redistributable Package Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 + SP1 Redistributable Package Intel Core 2 Duo CPU (2x 2666Mhz) or equivalent (Core 2 Quad CPU recommended) 2 GB RAM DX9 Graphic Card with at least 256 MB (512 MB highly recommended) Mouse with mouse wheel Joystick with throttle (The systems expect the default FSX throttle axis to be used) Download-Size: 240 MB Installations-Size: 500 MB
  20. Here's a .pdf with them in one place: http://va-transaero.ru/files/charts/HESH.pdf
  21. Are you using a throttle axis or are you trying with your keyboard?
  22. Hmmmm, does this mean I'LL be departing Heraklion in the next 4 hours?!?!?
  23. All of the .bgl's are in the Main FSX folder/Aerosoft/VaernesX_D folder. I would make sure that the reader is FSX compatible. They may also have it set to where you can't edit it, I know of course you can't redistribute, but now we're getting beyond my knowledge of the matter.
