I don't understand what you're trying to say.

The issue with ASE was/is, not when you load FSX.

But only when you start a flight.

It was/is then a pause of several (5-6) seconds, during which FSX was non-responsive both to screen updates and user input (cursor moving, clicks, etc.).

Do you still have issues with that?

Or, do you have other issues now?

I'm asking because, right now I may have a 6-sec pause at the beginning, but at least after that everything works normally and I can do my flights.

If by attempting to fix this, they have introduced other bug(s) that make FSX unusuable, this is unacceptable of course and no-go, since there is no way to revert back to the old (original) DLL versions. And my free time is very-very precious and limited, to spend a full day reinstalling FSX, with dozens of addons, hundreds of liveries, and a lot of handmade tweaking after that.

So, a direct question to Mathijs and the rest of Aerosoft staff?

Is the issue fixed, WITHOUT introducing new issues?

    Yes, it's fixed here.

The wrong thing i did, i closed sim before ASE had time to it's job. All ok now.

  2. Hello Stein-Ove,

    please send me (maria.plet@aerosoft.de) files:

    1. aseDataLog.txt, aseLoadLog.txt => C:\Users\<USER_NAME>\AppData\Local\Aerosoft\log

    2. dll.xml and FSX.cfg => C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX

    3. Scenery.cfg => c:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX

    Thanks

    Maria

    Hi again.

No problem, i have found it.

If i wait to ASE is finish'd with it's routine when start sim, i get no error when closing sim without loading any scenery.

When closing before that, error msg show's up.

So see this as a user error. :-)

    Thanks for help anyway.

  3. Thank for info.

I installed this file, all ok now, no 2 seconds stop when start sim.

But i get an error when i close down sim, sounds like this:

    APPCRASH

    fsx.exe

    10.0.61637.0

    AseData.dll_unloaded.

    Just for your info.

Edit: APPCRASH do not show up after loading an Aerosoft scenery including new ASE tech., but shows up if i start sim and close it down without loading any scenery at all.

  4. Update... there is a bug indeed there, Maria is looking into it. Think it will be fixed tomorrow. The pause (actually there are three separate two second pauses) are caused by the dll.

    Hi Mathijs.

Will this update be announced in this forum, or a another place?

  5. No, this must be a specific problem with this single installation.

I'm running ENVA together with UTE and FSGlobal and never experienced any kind of problem. And I'm "flying" regulary to ENVA, especially from EHAM, EDDM and EDDF with different aircrafts, like PMDGs NGX, Feelthere's ERJ, Aerosoft's AirbusX, Eaglesofts CitationX and Flight1's Mustang. The only problem is more or less stuttering depending on the Aircraft (most withe NGX and less with AirbusX).

Same here, with a mix of UTX, FSGlobal, NGX, AS ENVA, Norway Scenic II, AS2012, etc. etc., you name it, i have never had one CTD, freeze or something like that when arriving ENVA, so it has to be something with your install, scenery or addon that covers this area. Just My Thoughts...

  6. Not only do I not want an Airbus, I don't want to know that YOU want an Airbus.

Where are the shed load of people? Have you canvassed them? Do you have names and addresses? And most importantly, are they older than seven with access to their own money?

I think you should put up or shut up, particularly when you break forum rules to open a new topic (which should be here: http://forum.aerosof...pose-a-project/)

Please produce this large collection of latent purchasers.

When did you became this forum's moderator?

Please do not mix up everything and nothing, you get this forum to be an unfriendly place to be ...!!!!

Is it possible!! Not just that you are rude, but at times vicious, too. I'm starting to wonder if you've had a bad childhood or something, something serious must be at least ...!!!

Is it so difficult for you to read that some members here on the forum, unfortunately posted in the wrong part of the forum, comes with some desire, and while you are so upset about it, well then, I had considered and started with something else, stamps. .... or anything ....!!!!

PS: Take care of your heart, it does not last forever ....

    Merry Christmas :argue_s:

  7. But this is NOT the general reason for g3d.dll CTDs !!!!!! How many times must this be explained!

I have NOT said this is the reason me either, but as a customer, who pays for this product's, at least i can get a product without this fault's, it's not so hard for developer to check this kind of faults before lining up a new product. C'mon... :lightbulb_s:

  8. there's a thread on AVSIM about G3D.dll and Pete Dowson jumped in last days and try to find a solution.

    Test already running..

Maybe affected people could have a look there and test and help...

btw: this is a very long thread, endless tests and discussions, but the conlusion overall is, that you can't blame a specific developer.

There are some internal FSX bugs it seems...

Well, almost right, when developers deliver some package's with a lot's missing guid's in it, then i must say we can blame the developer for not deliver what they should!!!

  9. The conclusion is it has a sloped runway, 17 feet at one end and 56 at the other.

It sound very much in my ears, 12m (39feet) slope!!! If you look at navigraph map, elevation at RW09 are 17m (17m=56feet!!!). Something must be wrong somewhere...!!! Maybe check this with someone that works there or something..

  10. im not sayeing this is the direct lead just that acording the info it might have an effect on the system.

As i also dident think it was enough as i used a setting from here:http://www.fsdevelop...ssing_%28FSX%29

I saw there is missing textures as well whitch makes FSX look for them and you can even se how often FSX looks for tose textures, the Guid was just a small peace as far as i could read it is only caled once or so, and then ignored. The textures are caled all the time in order to show it right. as you would se when FSX load it would give info on the missing textures but when FSX runs. Just a little movement of the view would give missing texture pop up after each other. and actualy i did hold enter down and FSX got overloaded and CTD.

But there is many othere places to look i actualy cleand up the dll.xml and EXE.xml file last week and those files actualy was causing CTD at exit not only whit airbus X but other programs and i know FSinn and rex can cause it.

just to prove its all those small pices that makes it so dam hard to find

so i think it ends here.....

Thank's for input,, but it didn't help much. I have no problem with dll.xml and exe.xml, so that don't help much.

I had an another test right now, without AS EBBR installed, from EGBB-EDDF, strait over London and Brussel with PMDG NGX, ASE and ActiveSky Evo., after 1h23m, a nice touchdown on 07R with 5000m sight and autogen on Very Dence and mesh res set to 5m.

Like i said in another post about this.......

Bye Bye Brussel, was nice to know you.... :boohoo_s:

Much better to forget this scenery and fly (over Brussel) instead....!!!

    Cheers

  11. from previus post from another topic:

Thank's for your feedback. I installed it again for a check, i did not get any error's (missing guid's) when starting at EBBR with a deactivated AFX_EBBR.bgl file, have not tested with a overfly yet.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ok But test it throu to make sure it was it. i might have more info.....

Thank's for trying to help, but tried an overfly now, but get the same fault again when scenery tries to load, i think it has to do with how scenery are build up!!!

    Cheers

    Stein-Ove

  12. Well i had a look on it and what happens if you remove the file: AFX_EBBR.bgl does it then stil crash? I then have futher info when you told what happend

just as side note all those msg you get can cause CTD i tryeid by just hold down the enter button and got CTD

    Hi.

Thank's for your feedback. I installed it again for a check, i did not get any error's (missing guid's) when starting at EBBR with a deactivated AFX_EBBR.bgl file, have not tested with a overfly yet.
