I’m not very impressed with how Aerosoft have been taking care of this plane after release. The updates has been absent, which is very concerning. They also “sold” the Twotter project which is for me concerning as we no longer knows how that plane will be taken care of either.
As a result of this I am very reluctant to buy the new A330 since we know how Aerosoft takes care of their customers soon after release.
So Aerosoft; what is the future of the CRJ, and the Twotter for that sake?
Is it worth buying more of your planes?Thomas

What is the status regarding weather radar from the developers point of view? Do you you think, @Mathijs Kok, that the A330 will release with a fully functional weather radar? Or is that to much to hope for?

So far FPS looks great. As displays are the biggest draw on resources, the lack of an EFB helps the 737, but in the end both PMDG and my team use the same high quality modeling according to the latest technology (so relative low res bitmaps with high bitmap decals) you will end up with aircraft that should perform about the same.
I get 44 fps in the image shown here, goes to 48 fps when the EFB only shows text.
Btw about EFB with only text.... that part is now also done. Here is where you can read your simBrief flightplan.
Charts can now have a dark or light theme independent from the rest of the EFB:

Not yet implemented is the option to change runway length but as some people really wanted that we'll do that next week.
I like that you have separated the boarding and fueling process unlike in the FenixA320. Good job

The charts can now be shown in DAY mode (so as they are 'printed') while the EFB theme stays in DARK mode.
The performance tab is nearly complete. Still testing the performance data.
Flight plan display tweaked.
State save seems to work.
And just to close work of this week, two 4k images. The one of the cockpit shows an older state but you get the idea.
Will there be state-saving of the plane so I can pick up the plane in the exact same condition (knobs etc in the same place) as I parked it last time I flew?

I don’t want to “steal” this thread, but I would love if VDGA menu took the information from the last SimBrief flightplan. Regardless, I think you have made a great job so far. Keep it up

Ok, will remember to put in correct data in the menu before next flight using VDGS then.
Looking forward to see VDGS fetching data from SimBrief in a later update.

What is the MSFS Aircraft Customize screen? Is that the in-game MSFS menu where I find the World Map? A bit strange it did find the "AY" letters though.

I have created a SimBrief plan (ENVA/EFRO). My flight is number AY533 (callsign FIN2MF). When spawning at stand 34 in ENVA I fill in the data in the "VDGS planner" by clicking "Shift+V". In the VDGS screen on stand it says AY 1123 as my flight number even though my flight number is AY 533. Am I doing something wrong or a bug in the airport or VDGS system?

I actually saw/heard this on the youtube channel "737NG Driver" who is a 737 pilot and a member of the PMDG tech team. This was regarding the Boeing 737. Probably a part of the 737 manual but not the airbuses.

You are correct, BUT if you want the customers to come back next time for your next product you also need to show a good product with good updates. If that is not happening your business will be out of work and someone else will fill that gap pretty fast.
I used to love the CRJ. Now there is plenty of good airliners out there. And if Aerosoft want to keep me as a customer for the next aircraft they release, then they have to show they can keep their products up to date.

I understand that Sim Wings use this forum as their customer support. I want to ask if Sim Wings have any plans of updating LEIB? iniBuilds just released their version of LEIB, and as far as I can see LEIB (Sim Wings) is still on version 1.0.0 after it was released in 2021-05-18. I also want to ask if Sim Wings have any plans of including the Aerosoft VDGS in their airports soon?
I have several Sim Wings airports, and I bought them with the belief that Sim Wings was a trust worthy developer that would update their airports continuously with latest MSFS technology.

Actually, my question still stands in this forum since Sim-Wings use Aerosoft forum as their official support channel. Will Sim-Wing airports support VDGS in a future update?

Hi, I became aware that I can synchronize the baro unit from the EFB. But I found that it also synchronizes the "back-up baro unit" (can't remember the correct name of that thing). I would like it to be the same as in the Fenix A320 where it only syncs the Capt and F.O side (not the back-up thing).
Can this be done?

I don’t have fsuipc7. I have in fact cleaned the community folder and the stutters are gone. Need to put back the mods piece by piece when I got time. I found out that I had an outdated Nool VDGS mod last night. It could be that mod causing the stutters. I will find out next time I log in.

This is the reason I’m reluctant to buying more Aerosoft planes. The way they discarded both the CRJ and Twotter is disturbing.
