  1. There is bug(feature) implemented in SU5 which makes the co-pilot invisible in external view. This bug can easily fix by change flight_model.cfg file. By default CRJ config we have station_load.0=419, -21.3, 0, 1.5, TT:Pilots, 0 To correct bug(new asobo behaviour) you need: 1. Split Pilot/Copilot in station load 2. Count max_number_of_stations 3. Change for pilot and copilot last number. 1 - pilot, 2 - copilot. Something like this it should look like station_load.0 = 170, -21.3, -1.5, 1.5, TT:Pilot, 1 station_load.1 = 170, -21.3, 1.5, 1.5, TT:CoPilot, 2 Then all models will visible again (Pilot and CoPilot)
  2. Greetings! I would like to report a strange behavior (which I suddenly discovered on the CRJ-550/700). I will say right away that this (bug?) Is 100% reproducible, but it has absolutely no meaning in the current implementation of the aircraft and does not manifest itself in any way, if you do not purposefully look for it. But, for a number of reasons, it can turn out to be critical and elusive in further aircraft development. So. In the aircraft configuration folder, there are files with the .FLT extension These files record the state of the aircraft when loading in various situations (apron / runway / taxy / aproach /.../ etc) Now this is not used by Aerosoft CRJ in any way, but perhaps in the future we will be able to launch an aircraft in the air / on a runway (without frantically changing the status in the EFB every time). But that's not the point. In these files, in addition to setting the simulator default values, you can also customize the L: VAR values. This block addition is done: [LocalVars.0] So, this is where interesting behavior begins. If we add any (even non-existent) variable here, for example: [LocalVars.0] BUG_CATCHER = 0 When the aircraft is loaded and the Dome Light Switch is turned on (above the cockpit door), the value of the variable BUG_CATCHER will change to 100. And when it is turned off, it will return to its original state. This only works with the single (first) variable in this list. An important point. It is necessary to load in the position depending on the file name. For example, let's take the apron.flt file for the test and boot into the parking lot. So, if in the future (well, suddenly), a situation arises that you will use FLT files to load the state of the aircraft, depending on the appearance (for example, for the implementation of XBOX) Pay attention to this behavior.   5. I can share my mod through forum post or in some file area in aerosoft forum? This is my community mod, but contained modified original (Aerosoft copyright) ModelDefinitions files. Also, i'm working now for fully interactive ingame checklist which also requires modification of some files.
  6. For example. Testing new switch logic with only LEFT mouse click. All switches have a side. And no need to guess in what position the switch is. If it is permissible, I can provide changes absolutely free of charge if the company is interested in using them.

  8. Hello. 1. If i'm increase/decrease HEADING via knob on AP panel (mouse scroll), i have information on PFD with Heading degree and line. 2. If i'm increase through sim command (key mapping/joystic), i have changes for heading, but no line and HDG information on PFD. Only small figure is moving. Is any chance to fix this?

  11. I installed the last update and was a little disappointed that small bugs were not fixed, but nevertheless significant and greatly reduce the pleasure of the flight. List of bugs that I would very much like to see in the list of fixes: 1) Throttle Axis 0-100% command does not work 2) DM LT LH / RH Emissive texture is too bright and does not change brightness from knob. 3) ALT does not respond to physical bind. Only with the mouse. 4) The Light switch and many other elements cannot be configured on the bindings of the simulator 5) Incorrect switch logic is still relevant. Scroll the mouse wheel down, the switch works up / down. It is more logical to turn it down - switch to a minimum, up to a maximum, click min / max (this is for two-position switches) 6) There is still no logic for three-position ones. Click the top part - switch up, the bottom - down. 7) Periodically, some switches switch randomly when you rotate the camera by holding down the right mouse button. 😎 PA / CHIME / CALL / EMER buttons stopped turning on. They just click. 9) Terrain radar does not work 10) Weather radar does not work 11) Almost all animation is sharp (instant). No smoothness of switching 12) Payload does not work (values do not match in EFB and simulator). 13) Keybind "SET ALTIMITER" still works strangely. Resets the pressure value to the standard value, and the next press sets the real one. And so in a circle (it is always correct to set the current pressure value. To set the standard there is a bind "SET ALTIMETER TO MSL PRESSURE" 14) Cockpit is illuminated by an external light source (ground service vehicles for example). Seems like transparent 15) All displays are backlit at night (not completely black). It’s like they’re on. 16) There are no pilot models inside the plane and options to enable / disable. I understand that the list of bugs will seem ridiculous to someone and not worth the attention of developers, especially considering that you are working hard on new projects, but nevertheless. I can fix some of these things myself, but you do not allow me to create modifications for your aircraft. Well, in general, my thought is that if Aerosoft created and sells the PFPX planner and if the company created the CRJ-550/700 aircraft for the simulator, then it would be logical to assume that it is necessary to provide a profile for PFPX for the released aircraft. Otherwise, all sense and expediency of purchasing PFPX and subscribing in the future disappears. Actually, it makes no sense to recommend it to new people who have embarked on the path of simmerism.

  19. I use Throttle 0-100 because i have detents. If i switch to throttle axis (without 0-100) i lost my detents (and they stop working. THR Reverse also) It perfectly work for ALL ingame planes. Other side, it possible to create new profile, but GAME not have ability to create profile for specified plane. So. You option is have two ways - Set for main profile Throttle Axis and loose all detents/reversers - Create new profile, but lost flight if you forgot to switch profile (And by the way, it is very inconvenient to constantly manually switch profiles) I have simpliest solution. Just add support by developers for throttle axis mapping to this command!
