  1. Looking spectacular! Both the interior flight deck images and the exterior coming along wonderfully! Thanks for the update
  2. This is looking fantastic so far, thanks for sharing the updates and the cad images/screenshot!
  3. Absolutely welcome! Glad to hear you're also enjoying the wonderful landscape and environment too!
  4. I see you went with a similar choice of aircraft! It's quite breathtaking isn't it, I've spent the afternoon flying about exploring and I've barely scratched the surface with this! Glad to hear you're enjoying it too
  5. It's suggesting that from ENE you need to self vector to the procedure so sync the heading bug, go to Heading Mode and then turn the aircraft using that to navigate round to intercept the ILS 🙂
  6. Thanks for all the hard work Aerosoft! Really pleased to hear it's been patched and fixed - look forward to flying it again soon!
  7. Great explanation, much appreciated! They've basically re-written half the base code so it was expected that a lot may be broken or affected by this update and whilst frustrating, you are clearly sharing that frustration with us too in trying to fix it for us so we can return to enjoying the fabulous CRJ! We appreciate all the work you and the team are doing, and continue to do!
  8. Aerosoft have absolutely nailed this wonderful CRJ and it's by a LONG stretch my favourite aircraft in MSFS - it'll take some beating too! I wanted to share a few images from today's livestream as we flew from Stockholm Arlanda to Krakow with MSFS Live Weather (the TAF was one of the worst I've seen for a while with forecast thunderstorms, rain, hail, and variable gusts up to 55kts).
  9. The Third and Final episode of my mini-series (re-recorded) has gone live today! In this final episode, we'll look at descent planning, adding the STAR and approaches into the FMS/CDU and flying an ILS approach into Rotterdam! Hope those of you who watch the episodes have found them really useful and informative... I'm REALLY looking forward to the CRJ900/1000 release now!
  10. I can't add this to the Episode 1 post sadly as it seems to be a limitation of the forum however, I hope you all enjoyed the first episode of 3! Today, Episode 2 has gone live for all to see and enjoy and you can watch it by clicking the link below
  11. Over the last few months the Aerosoft CRJ550/700 for MSFS has quickly become my favourite aircraft in the sim... But the learning curve is a steep one especially for those going from the A320neo! Upon release, I worked to create some useful tutorials however over the course of a few months Aerosoft have really smashed the updates and squashed some bugs (ILS for e.g.) and thus - I have re-recorded them! 3 Episodes covering everything from Cold & Dark through to Shutdown for a simple flight from Manchester to Rotterdam, using everything I've learnt from a real CRJ pilot/channel member who has helped me learn the CRJ and make the most out of it! Hope some of you find them useful... The first episode is here: *As always, remember to read the description in the notes too for extra info, don't forget the transponder either before pushback (that'll make sense in Episode 2)* https://youtu.be/chb-tHqB1YA

  13. This is looking truly special! Really looking forward to checking it out
  14. The CRJ has quickly become my favourite aircraft in MSFS so far and those who watch the channel know I love challenging approaches too! If you want to see how to fly a VOR DME Arc approach in MSFS using this awesome aircraft then watch this full tutorial! https://youtu.be/7dJM-xIazBk
  15. Custom Views for the Aerosoft CRJ? Check this out and I'll show you exactly how to do it. https://youtu.be/cWc25EkHqc4
  16. On very rare instances (as I did the other week) I flew her into La Paz which iirc was 13,000 ft or so - so vspeeds where therefore inaccurate in the EFB (but was expected anyway). Best tip here I can give anyone - fly the aircraft! If you get the speed right for approach you should be between 2°-3° attitude on finals... Then you know your speed is probably about right.
  17. Awesome! Starting at 1300Z tomorrow and I've got all the routes prepped ready - just hoping tonight's Asobo update hasn't caused any issues
  18. I left this thread for a few days to see what people said and wow - awesome comments! Glad everyone's having a similar experience. I love the Airbus A320neo with the FBW mod but this is a different bird - and more hands on and that makes it quite enjoyable and a bit more of a "thinking pilots aircraft" (without upsetting anyone!) Bugs aside - and many are pilot error triggered too - it's thorough enjoyable! Tomorrow I'll be giving away FOUR on a stream to show my support for the amazing product thanks to some generous members of the community donating the funds! We'll be smashing about Japan on VATSIM so feel free to log in and fly along from 1300Z I'll be starting in Nagasaki before heading north to Hiroshima, then up to Osaka before finishing on the third sector in Tokyo Haneda in one of my all time favourite countries to visit in the world!
  19. I'll show you tomorrow in the stream perhaps! I think I know where it is 😎
  20. Matt thanks very much! Glad you enjoy the streams and videos! It's awesome having you in the chat - I've learnt a LOT about the CRJ thanks to your knowledge and willingness to explain during the stream in the live chat too! I've uploaded a bit of a VOR tutorial for the CRJ today in the channel focussing on the basics so I hope I didn't make too many mistakes! 😂
