Well i have been working a bit on a camera view to Corfu X to those plane spotters.... Departure:
landing:and as you can se i got it working whit a limit as i could find a way to create other specific folders in FSX so you would have to select it from the drop down menu of views....
The reason for this is i could stop the A and S key and if you only use this, it would be no problem but as i created a few others it would move the spot to the other airports when press A or S whitch isent good as it have side effects. So when you want to spot planes select the view: LGKR Bridge and when you fly els where set it back to dummy in the drop down menu (If you fly to Corfu no action is needed as its already set to dummy) . dummy is virtual cokpit as that would prevent FS from loading any other custom made views. thats all there is to it i would have used a better methot if i knew it.
ok here is what to do
1) go to startmenu and search for run on English windows open run and type %appdata% go to \Roaming\Microsoft\FSX
find the Cameras.CFG create a backup.
2) open the Cameras.CFG whit notepad and go to the last line insert this:

Like I said,
I had GE europe and UTX europe installed only.
Installed an addon from orbx
Installed the update ... flew around orbx new scenery with no issue
(I guess the problem was already there but did not see it at the time)
Went to fly around corfu but no water, just land
Thought it was because of update 1.11

Went back to france and noticed i had the same issue
So i looked around on flight1 forum and was advised to run the setup exe of UTX
just run it, wait a bit for it to load and check files....(3 green check marks) then when opened, i just clicked the cross to exit the setup and problem was solved

In my case, that was easy to locate the problem as i don't own many addons as I populate area I fly into only

running my UTX europe setup tool, let it validate textures (what it does when executed) seemed to do the job
just opened the tool, wait a bit for it to load and exited

was able to get it.
That being said, it may have screwed something up.
Any idea on how to fix this
was working well not too long ago
installed an orbx scenery (setting FSX central back to default didn't help) since and the update 1.11 for corfuX
was working well before

Hello EmilG, Math, Shaun,
Shaun and Math have announced the release of version 1.11 (small update I guess).
I only own 3 aerosoft products so far which I downloaded and usually, updates are located in my control panel.
I can't seem to find this update though.
For corfu, 3 download links are displayed in my control panel (1.10 from germany, 1.10 from some other location and prepar3d version). no 1.11
Shaun said too look in the update, faq section.
I there found a tutorial telling me that i need to register the product but that it's done since it"s A DL purchase.
Is there another update section i am not aware of?
I am very confused and hope u can help me on this.

So I read there is a demo available for corfux that will work with prepar3d which i don't own.
Just a question, will I see a difference in prepar3d if I was to test the scenery (compared to FSX of course).
is there a way to test it without having to pay a mensual fee of 10 bucks?

I think this poll was a great idea and really shows you know your customers and try to know them even better.
No mean to rub your sleeve as we say in french mat...but really I like the way the company deals with customers.

ok thought i d let you know trhat by following mat's fsx settings guide, lower water too low 2x and turning off ferries and leisure boats, i managed to get correct fps and achieve my first landing in correct fps conditions

actually i think i have directx11 running
do if i understand right, that option alone has to be unticked and i don't have to unistall directx 11 from pc to replace it by directx 9 (ouffff)

seems like we narrowed down to the issue, i have no idea what directx version i am using but pc is up todate so it should be directx on windows 7 pro
it's kind of embarrasing i need to go down to directx 9.....
video card ati 6870.
how do i have to do this?
unistall directx10 and install 9?

First of all, thank you for making such a great scenery for corfu where I have had the chance to go many times on vacation.
It was thus a great pleasure to buy and enjoy this scenery I have been waiting for a while (even tried to make the beta team but didn't even receive an answer from aerosoft).
That being said, the product came with a nice surprise as i wasn't expecting to get a photoreal covered island....so it was all great new.
I just would have loved to see more building (just went from fs9 to fsx so i may be doing something wrong and the pantokrator antennas on the highest montain and more boats in gouvia marina and more details in paleokastritsa ....).
I know the price is low and what we get is already huge but i really wouln't mind paying some extra euros for more.
The feeling of being there was so amazing that i found myself willing more....blame yourself.
seriously, only issue that i am facing here is ...well see screenshot below.

I have registered on this forum only to have the same question answered (see post one) a few months ago.
I come back from time to time to check but nothing.
I would give a lot of money to see such a scenery done.
There are photoreal sceneries all around Belgium and nothing covered here . . .

This is my first post here (just registered to comment so i really hope i ll have an official answer).
I don't have much time to comment but I take lots of pleasure to read your posts everyday.
That being said, there is a request I read i few pages up I would like to comment on "a Belgian VFR scenery".
There are photoreal sceneries for england, the netherlands, germany, france and nothing for Belgium.
It's a real pity considering you have to cross that country to go from one photoreal covered country to the other (the ones mentioned above).
I read; somewhere (i believe here) that some folk made a vfr scenery from google imagery. (I guess a belgian fellow simmer who was tired of waiting for a commercial addon -- That being said, i was told the overall quality was very poor (which is understandable for a non professional) and that it was not usable).
I also know there was a polemic and that the scenery was withdrawn from the internet as google didn't allow the imagery to be used in such a way which i totally understand (no polemic wished or intended)
Most important of all, I remember that Mathijs said Aerosoft was developing a BELGIUM VFR scenery or had project to do so at the time.
Is this fiction or fact???
Can we hope for such a scenery?
I really hope to see more belgian sceneries in the future
