For sure gonna do more Norwegian sceneries in the future! No info on which airport and when at this point though.

I have a suggestion, if I may. ENKB doesn't have any good sceneries, payware or freeware. It's one of the only remaining non stol-airports in Norway that doesn't have any sceneries.

I dont see why we need 3thrd Oslo, we allrdy have 1 from ORBX and one freeware... I think Sola/ENZV need to get some love soon, is outdated and know one cares about it.

The freeware for ENZV is okay. Not ORBX or Aerosoft quality of course, but it's fully flyable. I do get your point about spending loads of resources on 3 versions of the same airport though. Remember that Jo Erlend has a particular passion for this and has done other versions of ENGM in the past. Even though it's the last one to release for MSFS, it is definitately not the "copy-cat".

  3. Is anyone else having issues with NDP charts? I figured it must be wither account or server related since I've tried loading up the charts on both the website, the app and different browsers and devices, so I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or if it's a global server problem. I've attached a screenshot of the error message, although it really doesn't say a whole lot.

Lol meaningful updates were few and far to come by when MK was here for the past 7 months, so I am not holding my breath for any updates anytime soon.

They are fewer and even further between with like... Anyone else! His style was more continually updating and answering questions instead of waiting for two months and then posting it all at once (like most other developpers do).

Although, I do agree that an update is due, but honestly I don't know if they've gotten a replacement yet. I wouldn't worry though. I'm sure they'll tell us when someone new pops up.

The advantage of being a bit late in the beta tests is that the people who have access can do some liveries.

I know Håkon Ånerud is doing some liveries. Will these beta tester-created liveries come with the aircraft or will they release them themselves on flightsim.to?

In Douglas Adams' book "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy," the number 42 is famously referred to as the "Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything." It is arrived at through a supercomputer named Deep Thought after millions of years of calculation. However, the joke is that the answer is meaningless because the characters do not know what the actual question is. In flightsim culture, the number 42 has since become a reference to this humorous concept of a seemingly-important answer to an unknown question.

I don't know how many times you've had to explain that...  A few too many at least

I wonder if people posting here about liveries are aware that the plane is not out yet...
I come to the forum for info on the A330 and I only see downright irrelevant stuff on liveries.
Well, I'm going to ask a question... will only the pilot have a parachute in the event of a flight failure?

I don't know if most of these people know how many great liveries tend to be made for aircraft right after release on flightsim.to and that they're all almost guarantied to get their livery request even if Aerosoft aren't making them for release. I wouldn't say it's downright irrelevant though. They asked for livery suggestions, so they're not complaining about the answers. I don't see any problem with that.

Also parachute in the case of flight failure? What do you even mean?

It is known to us that Scandinavian overworked its corporate design. However the repainting process of the airline is not completed and the latest imagery available on the web shows our default livery LN-RKS still in the old colors. As soon this changes, a version of LN-RKS with the new colors will of course be added.

Yeah, they don't have any repainted A330s yet. I don't know if they ever will. Their entire long-haul division has been going down the drain recently. They even returned some brand new A350s to the lessor. They also fly A321 NEOs on long and thin routes, which isn't a bad thing because they meet demand instead of far exceeding it. All of this to say: I don't know if the A330s are gonna stick around in the fleet for another round of paint.

Only learned of this project recently so good to see so many long haul airliners coming out this year and I especially like the 330. Just 2 questions, is there a price estimate? Is there a paint kit out yet?

As a customer and nothing else I can say that Aerosofts products tend to be fairly priced (perhaps a level cheaper than PMDG or FENIX), and at least with the CRJ the paintkit didn't release until after the aircraft. I cant't remember if that also was the case with the Twin Otter. Yet with the CRJ there were many 3rd party liveries posted long before the paintkit came out.

How about go outside of the box and do the Dash 8 or the ATR?

15 hours ago, Tobias Nome said:

Both are due to be released from Majestic and Milviz respectively

Majestic is making the Q400 and maybe the 300. What's really missing is the smaller -100 and -200 (and also the -300 if Majestic aren't making it, I know that's a little bit of an if). They're great for STOL ops in Norway and have been criminally missing from the sim for ages.

Asobo is also still working on their ATR, no?

  11. Guys, just post your wishes in the community->livery requests on flightsim.to right before release. As a painter myself I can attest to that you get waaaayyy further by doing that than making a post here. They haven't added the Aerosoft A330 category yet, so please do not post a request for the a330 in another category. Then I can almost guarantee that your livery gets made, with most A330 operators being pretty sizeable airlines that people know of and all. It might take a while for all of them to be made, but the completion rate on new high fidelity add-ons is great. So please just stop asking here, let them focus on the plane and post your wishes on flightsim.to close to release!

This is flight simming and you can create or make authentic and fictitious liveries. Many anticipate former fleet liveries like American Airlines to be included.

Ooooh, now I remember that I've actually been on an American A330, I better make that livery now, huh?!

I might be biased, but I hope this livery makes the cut. 😅

Also out of curiosity, will the A330 have a full cabin interior?

    Keep up the great work!

If it doesn't "make the cut", someone (probably me) will make it and put it on flightsim.to ;)

PMDG and Fenix work fine with NavdataPro already.

Just change the path to point to PMDG / Fenix (ProsimSQLite 320 database)

Thanks for the instruction, @Jan-Paul Schuchna - that worked for the PMDG 737-700!

I have also tried to bring up-to-date NavDataPro data to the Fenix A320. After some trying, I found the correct way: I chose the "ProSimA320 ver 1.28b4 (and newer)" entry and pointed that to the C:\Program Data\Fenix\ folder.

And if you are still looking for the correct way to implement NavDataPro data into the PMDG and Fenix, @riskas123: You might be interested in this. 😉

Thanks guys! I'm on vacation right now, but I'll be sure to check this out when I get home! ;D
