This is quite similar with my PC, I have a 2600K. This overclocked and with a good cooler should be fine.
Of course, even with better PC you can have sometimes fps under 10... under heaving clouds (high settings for REX Essentials), heavy scenery and most of the FSX settings to the max.
Tweaking will help getting most of the time over 20 fps.

Well, your knowledge will help in proper FBW development for Extended version, thanks for what you did so far!

LNAV and VNAV are more a Boeing naming.
You can have ALT in managed mode right after take off, above 500ft AGL, and only set the new ALT based on ATC indications (and still use managed mode).
For TOD, best way, if you use FSX ATC is to be proactive and to request altitude decrease just right before TOD (within 10nm before), and keep the managed mode. Then you can ignore altitude indications and use the charts. Usually, at some point, for ILS intercept, you and ATC will be again fine.
But as descent in managed mode is simplified at Airbus X, depending on rwy to land and approach you have to use selected mode. But this is done also in real life.

Wing lights are not implemented for Airbus X.
Would be a nice touch (on some other FSX models work in someways) but on this particular product the effect implementation was not considered as good as the developers wanted to be so was not added. Mathijs can correct me if I am wrong.

I keep the throttles on FS settings because scripts from Finn doesn't work ok for me also (in fact I used reversers with F2 and Idle, CL and so on from the LUA scripts) and at landing, when I am doing Retard, A/THR is not disconnected.
If reverse is engaged at advancing the throttles, you need to reverse the axis. Or you can try to do settings to use FSUIPC calibration instead of FS.

Now with version V1.0 alpha1g everything works fine up to now, more testing in progress, many thanks for support Joshua.

232 (no, not Airbus 320-232 but F/A-18C Hornet):
-
I attached the Standard.xml. Hopefully will help.
Thanks!
Edit: elevators work fine, I used LUA file from this forum for throttle, it works also fine, only ailerons not.
I changed Lua FBWROLL with Axis Ailerons Set from FSUIPC and they work but try always to go back to normal position, so I suppose somewhere ailerons are still configured even if joystick is disabled in FSX config.
-
I will do this in the afternoon, post it here, because I still didn't manage to get it right.
Last evening I managed to get the elevators running but whatever I do, ailerons don't move.
One question, calibration of the flight controls (elevators, ailerons) should be done also in FSUIPC? If yes, to get a better feel of the controls, there are some recommendations?
-
I decided to try this mod also, but I get ''flickering'' on F/CTL pages for ailerons and elevator when I do the control check, then I can not control the plane.. ailerons and elevators are always oscillating and try to get back in their 0 position.
Any idea of what could be the problem? I did like pdf tutorial says (or maybe I missed something...)
(one mention, I don't have pedals for rudder, so I don't use/need rudder axis configured for now, eventually I use keyboard)
Axis are recognized when I am in FSUIPC.

German technology still, I am wondering if this will be introduced in service also in Germany at some moment in time
-
I also had CTD with no error message, just freeze when the push tug connected (also the its driver went up with the cabin and then he did get down with the cabin up).

Hello, probably asked before, my topic can be moved if so, but in the new AES I still miss a proper ground service for planes like Bombardier CRJ for example, I can not configure too much in AES for it. It does not use stairs and also for cargo doors I couldn't set it up.
An example of ground service for it:
-
Well, Airbus stops production of A340 so... interest is decreasing for this, in my opinion.
-
I use ATC only for takeoff and landing (rwy in use and clearance), during cruise I ignore it, I use flight plan (from MCDU) and navigation/approach charts.
-
I put the file here, http://dl.transfer.ro/transfer_ro-18oct-a6d662d334bb.zip
I am not sure it will work but you can try it (I don't know if it doesn't depend of some local config, as for example my FSX path).
-
I am using the same joystick and I have no problem with it, I did the setup with the Logitech profiler (5.10.127). I can send you my profile if necessary.
I use also FSUIPC but no changes related to joystick there.
Screen here (of Throttle properties):

I experienced this also in the past, with no clear reason... No I am using the FBW mod done by Joshua and issue didn't occur anymore...

Hello guys,
Can you help me with a Tarom livery (fictional, as Tarom has only A318)?
It would be great for me to fly it for Tarom VA.

Thanks!

You can use this http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/ (with LFPG to EGLL)
-
Do you have any screens of ND (different ranges set) and MCDU (F-PLN)?
-
You can switch views (when in VC) and have the "simulation" of 2d panels. Can help if really needed it.
