Oh man I loved this addon back in XP11. Spend many a' hours here with my Turbo Otter. I wish I could have this now in MSFS as I've made the switch complete for some time now. But at least I have the memories

Happy 2024, everyone. Saw there haven't been any comments for quite a while in here so was wanting to know if there was any ongoing work on the CRJ still? I haven't flown it in a long time so decided to do some updates to get things up to latest MSFS version (I do this with all planes).
However when I look at the official forums at "Latest Version and Updates" the last update was from June, 2022. Am I reading that right?
-
a little confused as I clicked on this thread titled "Aerosoft Aircraft - A330 Preview" however it looks like this is a preview thread for all Aerosoft MSFS aircraft with over 150 pages of information. Which page does the A330 preview begin on? thanks

Nope.
I asked if it's something we can expect in the upcoming update but have heard nothing.
that's very unfortunate

checking in on this thread. reading back it looks like the click spot issue was getting updated to work but it's been over a year and a half since this thread. it might have been updated, so just wanting to check before opening a new thread.
cheers

I guess it can not be loaded, as both runways (DEP and ARR) are below the minimum runway length for a CRJ
thanks for your reply. yes that must be in, i wasn't aware of that limitation.
thats unfortunate because I can definitely take a lightly-loaded -550 off from a 5000' runway

You should be able to do so via the EFB on the left side if you select the "Default State"
You do always close the sim properly, right? As in you exit the flight via the Escape Menu and wait for the flight to fully close away? I know some devs' airplanes don't save settings if you close the sim abruptly by Alt-F4.
thanks will try

Hello! Hoping someone can help explain this issue that's preventing me from loading my custom route plans.
I've created a simple route in LittleNavMap and exported it via its built-in system as a .flp file to the location D:\<install_directory>\Official\Steam\aerosoft-crj\Work_Defaults\NZGSNZWS01.flp
However when clicking this route in the sim it says "LOAD ERROR" as shown in the screenshot below. As the error message is vague, I don't know what the issue is. Anyone gotten this error before and know how to fix it? Thank you!Flight plan: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gDnVn4GspW0doDJ0NgoUlFHB-9nTcnmf/view?usp=share_link

I forget when the last update was, but it was way more recent than June 2021.
I think mid-last year, so you're definitely on an outdated version. Update your CRJ.
ah sorry, typo. I mean June 2022. i tried looking in the official CRJ Changelog forum and don't see any update since June 2022. and the link they provided to the changelog is broken

haven't flown MSFS in a while so wanted to check I have the latest version of the CRJ. Was last update June 2021? Has there been any updates since then I should download?
Cheers

update: after last patch I'm able to get this working exactly as intended, at least on my first fligtht. TBD if works on all subsequent. but at least I know I've been doing it correctly as it seems it was a bug

Not a bug. This is a hydraulic pump, related to but not in synch necessarily with flap movement. There is a post on this earlier...
what "this" is a hydraulic pump?

hey guys, quick question regarding flap sounds and thought this would be better than opening a new thread. just fires up the Twotter and noticed that the moving flaps don't make a sound at all. I even moved the camera to the back of the plane right next to the flaps but couldn't make out a noise at all. Is this normal? If so then cool. just wanted to make sure I haven't broken something
just hopped int he twotter a month later and noticed the same thing. should I open a new thread?

Cross at 15000 for example. Maybe an at or below, but if everything on the arrival is at or above I've never seen the VNAV window populated.
i'll try this out next time. I've never manually added in a restriction before but have gotten VNAV and TOD displays just fine. i swear it feely random

I posted this issue last year with no replies except me talking to myself. It's probably still around here somewhere, but iirc the VNAV doesn't display if there are no hard altitude restrictions, which it looks like yours doesn't have.
Whether or not that's correct behavior I can't say.
Here it is:
sure felt like last year anyway.
hmm interesting theory.
i swear i've gotten it to work when simply using a pre-planned RNAV or ILS approach which programs in altitude restrictions automatically. what do you mean exactly by "hard" altitudes?
-
UPDATE: but to my surprise, the coupled autopilot VNAV worked! descended like a champ. wild
-
Seemingly random, I can't get the VNAV display to work. I do same FMS setup every time (I think). And sometimes VNAV works, sometimes it doesn't. I feel like I'm missing something here. Take a look:
As you can see the VNAV info is completely blank.
But if you look on the MFD Data page, you can see the TOD is indeed known and correctly calculated:
And "DESC INFO" page also knows what the next altitude restriction is:
Anyone notice anything off that could be causing this issue?

Hello, I just purchased LIPV San Nicolo and it looks great, however there is a crack in the world coming from the airfield across the sea towards Venice. You can only see the large crack from an angle, otherwise it is flat and 2D. Normally I'm not a stickler for small texture glitches but this one really stood out to me. I'm wondering if it's an issue because of the recent Italy update?
Anywho, I wonder if it would be an easy fix from Aerosoft's side. Please let me know. Cheers
