How to add products to Aerosoft Launcher library
Sorry if this has already been brought up, I only found information on how and whether or not products need to be activated in the search. not trying to start a flame war here. Anyway, is there a way to officially add my other aerosoft products e.g. Airbus X to the "Aircraft" and "Scenery" categories? right now they are just non descript titles in the Unknown Category. I would enjoy haveing a little organized collection of profiles. Also, the acess to manuals and configurators would help clean up my desktop, and eliminate the neccesity to go digging through my hard drive for documentation. Thanks!

RC flying stuff
I just fly the pre fabbed RTF planes. some are ok, and quite durable and easy to fly. I would like to get into the more serious ones, but i dont have the money or the space really. if your just starting i recommend the RTF (ready to fly) versions, as they have all you need included, and are relatively cheap. the nicer ones cost about the same, except you spend much more money on buying your own equipment, as it only comes with the airframe kit. I've never done choppers before but it looks like you got right in there and built it yourself! heres a website that sells some good RC flying stuff for the more serious hobbyist (IMO) http://www.e-fliterc.com/ good luck nd have fun with the hobby!

Awesome cockpit training site
Hey guys, Haven't made a post in awhile, but I stumbled across this website. It's actually really cool, and the perfect thing if you are looking to become more familiar with the controls and layouts of select aircraft. basically, you can pick an aircraft and it will bring you to a page with and image of the cockpit and a little description of the plane. you can mouse over the different areas and it will tell you a bit about them. when you click on the area it will bring you to a zoomed in view of the specific instrument or region depending on where you clicked. Then just like the main view, you can mouse over, and it will tell you what each switch does, or if its an instrument, it will tell you what the parts of the instrument indicate. it doesn't really show how to use the controls(procedure wise) but if you already know the basic principles and functions needed to fly an airliner, then this is great for getting to know where things are. At the very least I found it much easier and more fun then the layout descriptions found in most manuals. Anyway, have fun and happy simming http://www.meriweath...flightdeck.html

New Aerosoft installer and Launcher
I kind of like it.. but will we be able to add our existing products to it to make a sort of flight sim library kind of like how you add games to your steam library or music and movies to itunes? I would love to be able to easily access things like airbus load manager or the season tools wthout having to make ugly shortcuts or navigate through the files every time i need it. also will we have to reactivate things every single time we reinstall them? i sometimes uninstall and reinstall addons depending on how much i use them and when i want them, and find it silly having to go through all that again. liam

might actually be a nice aircraft to see modelled in fsx

PMDG NGX
HOOlaayy mama... when that thing comes out imma fly it, and imma fly it good! and quite honestly, does that look like it would be compatible with fs9? the polygon count is probably off the chart. and we should all know about fs9 and polygons, from various discussions. also I am pretty sure that PMDG made a 'no more fs9' official decision. correct me if I am wrong, but I can be fairly certain its true. so, to be blunt, quit beating a dead horse. if you prefer fs9, thats cool, but this baby is an fsx bird. Aerosoft, can you sell it as a download like the JS4100 please?

MS Flight. In-Game footage?
haha thanks for being considerate. i marked your post up as for the whole fsx-flight thing, I think Snave is probably correct in saying that that fsx is being used as a platform for the new development. I just thought they would take a new approach seeing its being developed by different people. Classic case scenario: http://blogs.justflight.info/2007-10-05/fsx-accelerates-sp2-dx10-wall/

it looks like an overhead and slightly behind view of a fighter jet. in the picture you can see the tail and part of the top of the fuselage

MS Flight. In-Game footage?
yea quite frankly I am a little disappointed. other than the shadowing, and the aircraft modelling, it looks pretty much the same. but then again, theres still time. in case any one ever noticed, much of the early screens for fsx, and the ones shown when installing, looked alot like fs9 to me at least. so i would give them some time to change things. but i WILL be disappointed if it stays like that.
