  1. Any airplane with an IFR certified WAAS GPS can fly LPV approaches with vertical guidance/virtual glideslope. That has nothing to do with VNAV.

     

    I've flown lots of GPS/LPV approaches in a (real life) Cessna 182 which definitely does not have VNAV!

  2. When flying an RNAV/LPV approach (in this case, KEYW GPS RWY 09) two issues noted:

     

    1) No glideslope indication was received. This should be present with an LPV approach.

    2) Unable to activate APR mode in autopilot.

     

    The approach was correctly selected in the FMC's DEP/ARR page.

     

    The same approach flown in the DA62 works correctly.
