  1. See title. Here is a pic: https://prnt.sc/ycnFsu58-ECQ  The bottom center where is shows "04 H 34"

I cannot find reference to that in any real world A330 publication/training book available online. I thought it was time remaining with current fuel, but the numbers do not add up (Fuel Flow 1+2=180lbs/min, divide that by total fuel on board of 26890. 26890/180=149.39 minutes of fuel available. Divided by 60=2.49 hours of fuel).

    So what is that time?

    Ok, thanks for the feedback.
    We are investigating this.

    Best regards.

Nothing I am reporting is apparently new.

    Low FPS with reverse issues:

    No nav map pop-out:

These issues go back 1-4 YEARS and still have not been corrected!

  3. I have found a cause - not the solution.

It is FPS related. When FPS drops below 20, the thrust reverse does not work. Normally, I do not drop below 20 FPS however in this aircraft I do because they refuse to allow the nav map to be 2D pop-out thereby forcing us users to create a new view which drops my FPS by over 50% without any traffic or weather injection. Since the nav map is extremely difficult to read in the 3D mode, I can't see where the icons are for start descent and where I would level off in descent (to be at specific altitudes by specific waypoints using the VS mode). I absolutely will not change my graphics settings to please Aerosoft simply for them not wanting to made one of the most important displays viewable (they did for all other displays and for the CRJ family). Many addon scenery require settings to be at or greater than X, and my computer runs it just fine where it is now with about 50 FPS on the ground with no weather or traffic - add in those and open a new window view and FPS tanks to 15. If anyone has a solution to this I'd love to hear it - be able to see nav map without creating a new window view thereby tanking FPS and rendering reverse thrust inop without changing any graphics settings.

    Just double check, please.
    - What is the F2 assignment in P3d ?
    - What is your Windows version ?

Windows 10 home, and as I said, I've checked the assignments already and F2 is "decrease throttle quickly" - pressing it and holding in the A330 does absolutely nothing. Pressing it and holding in all other aircraft I have engages reverse thrust and increases reverse throttle up to max until I move the thrust lever a touch and then it disengages reverse thrust and back to idle. This does not work in the A330. Pushing F2 does absolutely nothing. I even pan the camera to looking at the throttle quadrant and pushing and holding F2 has no affect, nor does spamming F2 - the throttles stay at idle and the reverse arms don't even show the slightest bit of movement at all.

    Hi,
Can you get the reversers working if you press F2 ?
The method you use is working in my Aerosoft A330 Professional under P3D v4.

    Best regards.

Negative. They seem to not be responding at all. Pushing F2 once or pushing and holding F2 does nothing in this aircraft. I've double and triple checked the button assignment, and checked in other aircraft. It is only the A330 that is not working. I did see something somewhere about it needing to be 20 or 30 FPS + ... but this does not make sense to me - I do not see how FPS would have an effect on thrust reverse working or not.

  6. I fly with a thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS X (https://www.thrustmaster.com/en-us/products/t-flight-hotas-x/) on P3Dv5.3 (always the latest version) and since there is not a reverse section of the throttle, I have a button assigned to "decrease throttle quickly" with repeat all the way right. In every other aircraft I fly, pushing and holding this button applies full reverse upon landing. But in the Aerosoft A330, it does nothing. I found a TON of info on reverse issues, but all had to do with using a TCA or Honeycomb throttle not configured correctly. This does not apply to my hardware. So, how can I get reverse thrust to work on this aircraft? I do not see any option for engaging the reverse in the P3D settings.
