Dear Aerosoft,

 

Can you please advise how to properly activate the Jetways?

When activating with the GSX Level 2 menu, the jetway raises itself in a parked position in an opposite direction of the aircraft.

I then also get a message in in the GSX menu that it it waiting for other services to complete.

Even after a long wait, I cannot get any jetway movement going. I've tried several gates and all give a similar result.

 

Using SODA v1.80 / PREPAR3D v5.4

[Dome light not working]

Dear AS Support,

 

Issue is still not resolved. I did a re-install yesterday using admin mode and having de-activated my virus scanner and it is still not working.

 

Can someone please advise how many files should be in the effects folder? In my case it indicates 51 items.

 

Note - There was a time that someone from Aerosoft would at least respond... Am I missing something regarding this situation or is it one-track MSFS mindedness these days?

Is anyone else encountering similar with the latest P3Dv5.3HF2 version?

Dear AS Support,

 

I recently moved from Windows 10 to 11 and simultaneously switched to P3Dv5.3HF2.

After installing the A318-319 and A320-321 ver. 1.4.3.2, I notice that the dome light is not functioning. The switch moves but there is no appropriate reaction.

I've looked in the effects folder and can see the fx.ASABV4_VC_DOMELIGHT_BRT.fx and fx.ASABV4_VC_DOMELIGHT_DIM.fx files

 

A further observation from my side... I notice that there are 51 items in the effects folder whilst previously there were 55???

When doing a check, I noticed that the 4 missing concerned the maplight.fx, Pedestlight.fx, Readinglight.fx and the Slidetablelight.fx 

All above starting with fx.ASABV4_VC_...  Don't know if this is intentional for ver.1.4.3.2 but thought I'd mention it.

 

I've re-installed twice but unfortunately get the same result. Please note that I have installed as Admin and with the anti-virus de-activated.

Can you please assist. Thank you / danke.

[The problem of closing P3D after A330]

DRON960 - Hi, could be that something remains in your computers cache memory. May I suggest you give this a try...

 

Press the Windows key+R and type %temp%  opt for delete;

 

Press the Windows key+R and type prefetch  opt for delete.

 

Perhaps this will help. Doing the above each time after your P3D sessions will also let it run smoother.

 

If the issue remains it may be best to do a re-install. Remember there are 8bits in a byte and all it needs is one of them to go wrong!

 

I'm using the same P3D version as you and have the A330 updated version too with no issues.
